It truly does depend.  WIth my last child I was scheduled for induction simply because I had so many complications and it was important NOT to go past my due date. However nature didn't cooperate even with the induction and I ended up waiting till nature took it's course (I personally think they scared the little darling out of me) As finally they scheduled me for a C-section just to make sure complications didn't continue *course then ya got a whole new set of them!*  

Listen to your body and your physician.  With #3 we did schedule and induction and being the accomodating child she is she actually "induced" herself that morning.
