My 8 month old son has seven teeth, is that normal? He first got the three in a row on the bottom, then he got four in a row on the top.

Yep--that's totally normal. There is a lot of variation in teething in children. For example, my first cut her first two teeth at three months. My third has two teeth and is a year old.
I feel for you as you go through the teething stage!

I agree with Katrena... it's so different by child.
My first didn't even start anything until 10 months... the second at 7 mo already has 2. A friend of mine has a little buy who started at 4 mo.
Good luck

Thanks for the info. With this being my first child, I thought for sure seven was too many teeth to have so early! Thanks.

My 14-month old teeth have been coming in slow. He now has 8 that have come in completely. My cousin's daughter who is a few months younger than my baby has more teeth him. Everybody has been telling me that teeth come in faster for girls than boys. I really think it depends on the child.

Yep, my oldest got his first tooth when he was only four months old. Then they just kept on comin'! Every child is different though. Be prepared for your baby to start putting EVERYTHING in his mouth.

I would say that's very good! My son(#2) is 15 months old and has only four tops, four bottoms, and getting one molar now.
