Enfamil Enfamil with Iron

Enfamil Enfamil with Iron
budget conscious

NOV

2009

Enfamil with iron appears to do exactly what it suggests, my only negative response is how expensive it is. The formula is exclusive and contains multiple vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Overall, Enfamil is probably the best, however, the price leads one to consider other alternatives after about six months. Fortunately, news of clinically proven vision and mental development with the formula has softened the impact of the cost for the formula.

The Cosco Car Seat, which is a multi-purpose use car seat is o relaxing for my son. It is wonderful fit and made in every dimension. ALthough it may not be cheap, it is not expensive. It is yet reasonable, but worth every dime thst is accumulated unto. The fact that it faces front or back, either direction is such a wonderful idead and it creates so much space and makes it fun for any chjild. In which meaing they can look towars the same why the big adults do, or look behind to see the cars or vehucles following us. What a laugh and giggle that is.

Evenflo dual electric breast pump

Evenflo dual electric breast pump
busy mom

NOV

2009

Im a big believer in breastfeeding but my last two babies were both premature which required a couple weeks in the NICU. So I went out on a search for breast pumps and debated which one would be best. I found the dual electric breast pump by evenflo for a very reasonable price so I decided why not try. I ABSOLUTELY loved it! I couldn't have survived without it!! Its very comfortable and has an adjustable gage so you can set it to the the pressure that you are comfortable with. Also it is very portable...can take it anywhere with you which was a great feature for me traveling to see my baby in the...

Similac Sensitive Formula

Similac Sensitive Formula
budget conscious, Willing to pay for quality, Homeowner, fun loving, busy mom, married, Practical, looking for value

NOV

My son was originally started on soy formula after not gaining enough weight from breastfeeding. He ended up having problems with the soy and we were told to try Similac Sensitive. He has done well on it. He spits up every formula, including those with the added rice cereal. He spits up this one the least and it doesn't bother his tummy.

We do use gas drops because the powder is very foamy when mixed. The liquid form is just too expensive and needs to be refridgerated. I find the powder to be the best option for our family. While a store brand may be cheaper, we are able to buy this formula with...

Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Newborn Diapers

Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Newborn Diapers
on a tight budget, Willing to pay for quality, busy mom, pro-breastfeeding

NOV

2009

In the hospital where I delivered they only used Pampers Swaddlers, and they also always said "Pamper" instead of diaper (eg. "Here, let me change his Pamper for you, you rest," "Oh, you can put his Pamper back on now, I'm done checking his pulse," etc), so I'm guessing that they rely pretty heavily on them and have for some time.  When the sides of his backside broke out in a rash that did not go away with Desitin, the hospital actually had Swaddlers Sensitives in reserve for me to use.  I didn't use anything but those until he had to go into size 3s, which was a shame because his butt broke...

The Baby Jogger stroller is the best stroller that I have used with the exception of the heavy weight of the actual stroller.  It's easy to control and turn because the three wheels and very easy to maneuver.

Chicco KeyFit

Chicco KeyFit
looking for value, married, safety conscious, budget conscious

NOV

The Chicco Key fit has been a great car seat thus far. Our little one is 3 months old and has gotten great use out of this car seat. He seems comfortable in the seat (he falls asleep all the time in it). The seat is so easy to adjust size. The straps can easily be adjusted every time you put the baby in and take it out. The handle bar is easy to manuver and use. It is very easy to install. Me and my husband have two cars, but we only purchased one base. I'm able to easily switch the base in just a matter of a few minutes. My only complaint is that the shade cover on the top is pretty useless. It...

Luvs Diapers

Luvs Diapers

NOV

2009
I'm a single mom here with not much money. But I do like to try and give my daughter the BEST. My daughter is now 2. We have tried every brand of Diapers out there. I found luvs to be the cheapest and also the best. The taps stay in place- and make it hard for my daughter to rip her diaper off. They HOLD a lot of pee pee for those over nights and they don't even leak even runny poo. yes discusting but we are moms arn't we.. Def try these! I have never had any problems I even love there wipes..they aren't to big or 2 thick and smell great.

Baby Trend Walker with Toy Bar

Baby Trend Walker with Toy Bar
married, partial to learning toys, Homeowner, fun loving, busy mom, care about family

NOV

2009

My doctor did not recommend that we use a walker because of the accidents associated with them. My son has been frustrated with the limitations on his movement since he was a newborn. He has always needed to be active to be content. The exersaucer and bouncer were just not enough. My mother-in-law bought him this walker and now he cruises around like a professional.

I wanted this walker because it was simple in design and did not have flashy toys. My son likes the bears and beads on it. He is chews on the bears right now because he is teething. We use the walker in our basement so that there is...

Huggies vs. Pampers Huggies vs. Pampers Diapers

Huggies vs. Pampers Huggies vs. Pampers Diapers

2009

When I was raising my kids I must have gone through every disposable diaper I could find and I finally settled on Huggies and the best and most leak resistant.  I tried all the store brands and the inexpensive ones from Wal-Mart, Target and such other stores.

However, now with my grandchildren coming my son used Pampers and we have actually gotten into several discussions about the difference in the diapers.  He states that they also tried the cheap ones and went through the Pampers, Huggies and Loves.

When my grandson would be with me I would use Huggies and they would use Pampers.  We agree...

Dollar Tree Brand Pregnancy Test

Dollar Tree Brand Pregnancy Test
Practical

NOV
21
2009

The urine dip stick is like a hard plastic which does not absorb anything. I didn't have very much money at the time so I bought three of them because I felt I was pregnant and didn't have the money to get a blood test done. All three of these either turned out inconclusive or negative. I went to the Dr. and had a test done and sure enough I was already well out of my first trimester! What a waste.

Medela Medla Breast Pump

Medela Medla Breast Pump
Willing to pay for quality

NOV

2009

I bought the Medela Breast Pump prior to delivering my daughter.  When I found out that I had problems having my daughter latch onto my breast, I immediately started to use the breast pump.  This breast ump was just amazing!  It literally took out every drop of milk out of me each time.  I was facinated at how you could control the suction of the pump.  Every woman is different when it comes to sensativity on the breast.  Especially during breastfeeding.  So the fact that I could control how fast the suction was, just blew me away.  From the moment I used this item, I was convinced that...

Playtex Evenflo Bottles Baby Bottle

Playtex Evenflo Bottles Baby Bottle

These bottles have proven themselves through two of my babies and soon to be a third. I have never had to deal with gas, colic, or spit up while utilizing this product. They are mostly reasonably priced depending on where you buy them compared to other bottles on the market who boast to do the same thing as this one.
