Baby Trend Travel System (all fabrics) Review

Trying to find a stroller that is not dark colors or gender orientated was very difficult.  Even the storllers that we thought were more gender neutral ended up having floral fabric on the umbrella portion of the stroller of which my husband was not thrilled about.  When we found this stroller (Orange Oak by Baby Trewns) at Baby's R Us we were thrilled.  And took sometime checking it over.

As a parent of 5 children now quality is of high importance.  I plan to pass this stroller on to my little sister who is now ready to start her own family sometime.  Our previous stroller from Graco really took a beating and lasted through 4 children so we really were looking to replace it with another Graco.  However we looked everywhere and couldn't find one we really liked for the price we could afford.  They were either gender specific or weighed a ton.  Perhaps it was even the dark colors that steared us away.  We were looking for something unique.  That is what we found finally upon arrving at a Baby's R Us.

 This stroller by Baby Trend caught our eye right away.  It's brightly colored orange material was unique and just what we were looking for.  The other color in the fabric is a light brown or grayish color.  So it was light in color, it was also bright in color, and it folded easily without weighing a ton!  Just what we were looking for and it was uder $200 for a travel system.

 My only complaint is with the baby seat.  It is a five point harness system but in order to get the bottom point snapped you must over lap one buckle onto the other then slide it in to lock together.  With a wiggly child this is a bit difficult because the two overlapping parts do not snap together to make it one.  You almost get the baby buckled in and the baby moves and you have to relap the buckles...sometimes this happens a few times....it's not really a big deal but it could have been made easier if the two could click together or slide into each other for a one click buckle.

 The stroller pushes easily, has a adjustable handle bar for shorter moms and dads or taller mom and dads.  Easy to adjust.  It also has two drink cup holders and a little compartment great for just a coin purse or wallet.  Our little one is only two months old so we really havne't used the stroller part to it's full content but so far it's great.  Big umbrellas and the material is easy to wipe clean.  The infant seat is also very easy to use other than the above mention buckle.  Light weight and full of color.
