The Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is not the best jogging stroller out there - but it certainly isn't priced along with the best ones either. There were three main reasons my husband and I got this stroller. The first was that with the big wheels, we hoped it would work in the winter (we live in Minnesota and I have to walk a lot as we share a car). The second was that the handle was higher than traditional strollers and more comfortable for my husband. The third was that it reclined all the way back, and was the only jogging stroller in our budget that we could use as a newborn stroller (without jogging, obviously) and as a jogger later.
Neither one of us are serious runners, so this gets used a lot more for walking than jogging. When it has been used as a jogger, it works for the most part, as long as I don't start too fast (if I do my daughter gets started and bumps her head on the sides). It folds up easily, and the big wheels work great on rough terrain.
There are two drawbacks to this stroller. The first is that the front wheel tends to wobble when it's not locked if you go over a bump or get going too fast (sometimes even at a brisk walking pace it will wobble). The second is that the seat back doesn't go as straight up and down as we'd like. However, it's easy to overlook these two, considering what we paid for them and the fact that it has good storage and has been a durable stroller overall.
