Baby Orajel Review Summary

Baby Orajel is "a must have item if you have a baby!" All moms and dads can recognize the need for a product to easy the pain of teething. Even some first time parents admit not realizing what was going on with their drooling, cranky babies. After applying the Baby Orajel to the baby's gums, "he would almost immediately be happy again." More experienced mos and dads caution that Baby Orajel only takes care of a baby's pain "for a short time." Grandmothers use this as well, remembering how well the product worked for them when their own children were young. Using something like Children's Tylenol can lead to a longer relief time, but it takes longer to have an impact, whereas Baby Orajel "lessens the pain more quickly" and leads to babies sleeping longer. "Don't know how I would have lived without it."

My son got his first tooth around three months of age.  He was drooling a LOT and cranky.  Since I am a first time mom, I wasn't sure what was going on.  Sure enough, after a couple weeks of drooling, out popped his first tooth.

Baby Orajel can help with teething pain but use with caution

My children have had LOTS of pain with teething. I have spoken with several parents who say that they did not even realize that their kids cut a tooth. My kids have always made teething a memorable experience, and I feel for you and your child if you are in the midst of this tough time.

Little babies spend most of their lives being entertained and feeling happy. But babies are not without their share of growing pains and chief among them is teething pain. When this type of pain strikes, I often reach for Baby Orajel, a product that helps eliminate teething pain.

Medicine Commentary:

Baby Orajel is a product designed to eliminate problems associated with infant teething. It is sold in a very small tube containing only 9.4 grams (.33 oz.). The product itself is gel- like in consistency and needs t o be squeezed out, similar to a tube of toothpaste.

Not just for babies!

Baby Orajel Teething Gel works great for my teething toddler.  She doesn't like it at first (and I've risked getting bit putting it in her mouth), but once it's in, she stops crying!  We're both grateful she's no longer in pain.

But it's not just for toddlers and babies.  My eleven year old daughter was complaining of a tooth ache, and once we discovered it was just a baby tooth wiggling it's way out and not something needing a dentist, I had her use the Baby Orajel and she was immediately in a much better mood.  Plus, it didn't taste bad, so she's agreed she'll use it again if she needs to. ...

This has worked wonders for my son everytime i just stick on his pacifer and he is out like a light with no pain to irritate him from his incoming teeth coming. There is no need to get the teethers or anything and its natural i love it!!!! I recommend it to all my friends that are brand new moms and single parents at the daycare i work at and i have never heard a negative comment about it. The only bad thing is it wears off fast but you just go when its on sale which i see regularly at the grocery store and buy a couple tubes and next thing you know teething is all finished and the little pearly... review »

Easy to use and fast effective

I have bought Baby Orajel I don't know how many times for my 1 year old daughter she started teething at 9 weeks old and I was resistant to buy the Orajel.  When I finally did I actually got my daughter to sleep for 3 hours instead of 30 minutes. As soon as I applied the Orajel it kicked in.  Baby Orajel worked really well she could swallow and didn't bite her tongue or anything.  It sticks to the place it is needed.  I would definantly refer it to my friends and family.

Great for little ones who are teething

I don't know what we would have done without this when my grand babies were teething.  I have found that you can get it for a very reasonable price at dollar stores.  Of course I have also run out in the middle of the night & payed more for it at a 24 hour mega store when the poor little ones needed it because i KNOW it works well

When my son was teething this was a life saver.  I even use it now that my son is 6 and grinds his teeth sometimes and in the morning they will be a little sore, put this on the tip and the pain totally goes away.  The only con is when my son was a baby, it didn't last as long as I would have wanted it to.

As a new mother years ago,  my mother recommended baby orajel and I thought it was a miracle worker then and as a "new grandmother" of 2 infant boys its nice to know that the product I relied on still works as fast and consistantly today.  This is a must have for the baby bag!

i have a little girl who is teething so her gums hurt a lot. i just put a little on and in just seconds she gets releif. shes quiets down and feels sooo much better afterward. i can just slip it in my pocket when we have to go somewhere. its so easy to use.

Great for teething babies

Baby Orajel is fast acting and helps relieve pain for teething babies. When teething your gums get sore and swollen and usually medications cant be given to babies. So its nice that there is something out there to help relieve babies of this discomfort.

I loved this product for my son when he was teething it helped him so much, i have a 1 year old and am expecting another in the beginning of April. I really do reccomend this product. i also like it because it is specially formulated for BABY.

When my Baby's first theeth were growing in, that thing would always cry. then i heard about Baby Oragel. it was kind of hard to apply, but in the end it really paid off. I can actually get some sleep now! Thanks Oragel! :^)

Ethan, 14 months, is cutting three new teeth. Since we have started the teething phase of infancy he has hated oragel. It gets the job done but it is always a fight. He prefers Highlands teething tablets.

These are great to keep in your diaper bag or at home. They are very easy to use and affective. i recommend them for all new mothers!
