Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks —

This product was a tasting display in our local Wal Mart a couple of weeks ago and we tried it because I have a 8 month old granddaughter. She is learning to feed herself and we needed a treat that wasn't sugary for messy. The teething biscuits are good for self feeding and chewing but are very mess. The Mum mums are crispy rice rusks. They are made with japonica rice, sugar, skim milk powder and salt. The sweetness is very light and just enough to flavor it. We had looked at them several weeks before the tasting and decided not to get them because it was a new product and we weren't sure if she was ready for them. They don't stay on the shelves very long and we always buy 2-3 boxes when we find them. The come indivudually packaged with two per pack and are great for storing in the diaper bag, in your purse or in the car. When we are eating, we will give Sasha one until we feed her or if she has already eaten, it keeps her occupied without a lot of calories. They are inexpensive and great tasting

We love these in our house. We buy them online at www.freethinkingbaby.com because we dont have a wal-mart close (and we don't like wal-mart) We fell in love with these when our daughter was 5 months old and we were traveling to Vancouver BC. Could find them anywhere in the states, but could find them online at one place... thank god. Our girl is now 18 months and still loves them! Perfect low-cal snack that is great for the car, stroller, shopping cart..
