Sony Baby Call Monitor
When I was pregnant with our 3rd child, I was sick of our old monitor that worked about half the time so I started to search for a new one.
I ran across the Sony Baby Call Monitor and saw many wonderful reviews for it. With the many channels that it offers and the lights sound sensor lights, this monitor is able to do its job well and clear as a bell. The clairity is amazing on it. You can hear every little sound your baby is making.
It has a nice belt clip that allows you to take it outside or with you all around the house. It has a very far reaching range which is also nice if you have...

Safety 1st Safety first glow & go monitor
I bought this item for my sister for her second daughter whom was born this past july. The sound quality is great, as is the built in night light. It also tells you room temperature so you know if it's comfortable sleeping for your baby. If I was to have another child I would definitely purchase this for myself.
Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor 1.8" Screen
I love this monitor. the viewing screen is the perfect size to carry around without being bulky. the night vision works great, it is really impressive! My son is two years old and I still use it for naps and night-time sleep. I like that I can "see" him without having to creep into his room several time a night. I plan on using this in the playroom in a few months, so that I can keep an eye on him without interruption his play.
Sony BabyCall Nursery Monitor NTM-910 900 MHz
I love this product. The fact that it lights up so if you have the volume down to watch a movie you can see that the baby is crying and how loud just by looking at it. I also like the setting that doesn't keep it on constant so if there is music playing or a humidifier running you aren't listening to that all night, it just turns on when the baby makes noise.
Summer Infant Secure Sounds Digital Monitor
At first this monitor was great. It caught the noise perfectly. we could hear everything. we never had any problems at all. Then out of the blue things went down hill. THe monitor doesn't connect to the base and you have to slam it down in order to get it to connect. Whn you try to turn it up it doens;t turn up. It stays at the same level. It is not a good monitor. Battery didn't last long when not charged. It would die within 45 minutes. You couldn't do the dishes and carry aroudn the monitor when vacumming. It'd have to stay on the base. It ended up dying at 14 months but warranty only...
review »Graco Graco Angelcare Movement Sensor with Nursery Monitor
My wife used to wake up every 15 minutes or so and check to make sure the baby was still breathing. She was so very worried about SIDS, and at first she insisted the baby sleep in the same room as us so that she could keep an eye on her.
We've both been sleeping more soundly now, knowing that the Angelcare Monitor will tell us if there's a problem.
This product should also work well for monitoring seniors, but since it monitors for any movement in the bed, a second person in the bed would throw it off.
This falls short of a perfect 5 star rating for two reasons:
+ It has a sensitivity adjustment...
Sony Sony Babycall
We had registered for the Sony Babycall baby monitor for our baby shower, and boy am I glad we did! It seems to be the best for the money being spent on it! We love that the base that stays with the parents can be un-plugged and be toted around anywhere in the house. It has many channel frequencies so there should be the right one for you without static and interferences. I was so afraid someone would be listening in on our conversations or for us to hear someone else's conversations, but not with this monitor it has worked great for us! The battery life also is amazing, I was presently surprised...
review »Fisher Price Voice Baby Monitor
I have had my monitor since my 12 year son was born, I still use it to this very day. He is autistic and his room in on the other side of ours. I keep both on when we are all going to bed. It is just a back up safety feature I use even though we have a security system in our home. I can hear him breathing and I would instantly know if something or someone was pretruding.
Bebe Sounds Angel Care Movement Sensor Baby Monitor
When we found out we were pregnant I was excited but scared. You hear all this stuff about SIDS and you worry that something will happen to your child. I saw an advertisement in a magazine for this monitor and went to check it out. After reading the box we added it to our registry. I always thought I would stay up all night watching my child breath but with this monitor on I was able to go to sleep with some sense of peace. When there is no movement for a set amount of time then the monitor will go off. It is not a loud beep but enough to wake you up. You can change the sensitivity...
review »Fisher Price Fisher Price Sounds 'N Lights Monitor
I got my monitor about 24 months ago. paid appx. $40.00 usd for it at walmart. i use it almost everyday when my baby sleeps or when she is just playing in her room and i cannot be there. it has a range of about 400 feet and well can even pick up thou think walls and still give clear sound and signal. it doesnt drain the batteries all that much, and in the 2 years i have had it i have only had to replace them about 3 times. it is easy to replace them. and that just the portable part of it. the stationary part has a light on it so it can be used as a night light. and the cord is long enough that...
review »Bebe Sounds Angel Care Movement Sensor Baby Monitor
This monitor was worth every penny. We bought it when my daughter was a newborn and I was paranoid about something happening to her at night.
We were concerned that it would set off false alarms and wake us all up, but that literally never happened once in the first 6 months. It seems to be very sensitive to even the subtle movement of a newborn breathing. It was very easy to set up right out of the box (Iand I am not mechanically inclined by any means.) You can set it to a setting in which you hear a little click every time the baby breathes just ot reassure yourself that it's working...
