Okay I also had this adapter for my carseat. I loved the fact that I only had to get an adapter to still use the stroller and car seat I love. It's a bit cumbersome to push in but once it's in, it's in. The stroller still folds so no worries there.

I bought this Baby Jogger City Select adapter for my Chicco Keyfit 30. I use the stroller as a double, with the bucket toddler seat in front and the carseat closest to the handle.The carseat does in fact snap into the adapter, but I notice that the seat bounces around a bit when the stroller is pushed on fairly level terrain. I have not seen how the adapter functions on rougher surfaces. There is a restraint belt, but I'm uncertain how much I would trust it if the stroller were to actually tip over. The belt sits over the baby's legs, and occasionally, her arms seem to get pinned under it a bit. Unfortunately, when the carseat is snapped into the adapter, it sits very close to the head of the other seat, making it a little difficult to move the sun shade. Overall, though, the adapter serves it's intended purpose. It makes the City Select usable with the Keyfit, when it would otherwise be impossible, thus the middle of the road review.

The selling point for me was the fact that this both has a clip in and strap to hold the baby seat in place. Most other brands (with the exception of the chicco stroller) only offers a strap and I think these are flimsy. This makes me feel comfortable with placing my infant seat in the stroller.
