Gerber Graduates Finger Food Fruit & Veggies Puffs
When I was introduced to the gerber puffs by some friends of mine, my first daughter was about six months old and I had been starting her on some solid foods. I bought some and when my daughter was around 8 month old, I started giving them to her. First of all, she loved them! I like them, too. They are tasty and made with wholesome ingredients. This was the first food that my daughter learned to pick up all by herself and put in her mouth. She is an independent little girl, so this was a really wonderful moment for her. I used them again with my second daughter. The only problem...

When feeding both of my daughters, I began to introduce yogurt at around eight months with permission from my pediatrician. We immediately knew that yobaby was a great choice because it is organic and contains whole milk, which growing babies need. It was a little pricier than some of the other kid oriented yogurts, but after looking at the ingredients, I think that it is well worth buying this yogurt over others because they contain real fruit, no artificial ingredients and they contain much less sugar than others that I have seen. My girls have really loved all of the different flavors....

When my daughter was only a few months old, she was diagnosed as failure to thrive. She had severe acid reflux and wouldn't eat barely anything. Mealtime was a chore. The doctor recommended that everything she ate be high in fat and calories, this meant that we couldn't feed her normal babyfood, because it just wasn't fatty enough. I found this yogurt while trying to find a food that would be high in good fats and that she would eat. And man, did she love this yogurt. I usually added a little rice cereal to it, to make it thicker, but other than that, this yogurt was great for her. ...

These puffs are great!!! Both of my kids loved them, and even us parents snuck a handful now and then. They are great for an on the go snack, just grab the container and throw it in the diaper bag, and you're set. Love all the different flavors, too. We all loved these!!!
Homemade Baby Food
I think homemade baby food is the way to go. It is budget friendly and simple to do. I usually have fruit and vegetables that are ripe and need to be used up. That is when I grab the food processor and away I go. Once I add the right amount of water for the consistency I would like I fill up ice cub trays and freeze them individually. That way I can grab a cube or two and let them thaw. Because they are frozen individually they take very little time to thaw and my baby has a natural, organic (if I choose) meal that doesn't take any more time to put together than opening a jar. Not...

I thought initially this food was a little on the pricey side, but when I brought it home and sampled a tiny bit (I always try to taste what I'm giving my little ones to know what they're getting) I found that it was actually really good. Made with pure, organic ingredients and no added sugar/salt, this is a product you can feel good about giving your little ones.
And try the sweet potatoes with beans one! It's really good, I swear! My daughter loves this one especially.
Earth's Best Organic Crunchin' Grahams - Honey Sticks
Personally, I didn't like the taste of these, but babies always have different tastes, but my 2 year old loved them. Not to mention they were great for them. The non-pesiticide and organic materials used to make this item happily satisifed me while the nutritional value and the yummy taste satisified my toddler, All in all, a great product and at an afforable price!
Gerber Graduates for Toddlers Lil' Entrees - Mashed Potatoes & Gravy with Roasted Chicken
My toddler used to eat anything and everything when he was a little younger. Recently, he has gone on an eating strike, making it impossible to give him nutritious food. All he wants to eat are crunchy carbs like: granola bars, chips and pretzels. Luckily, he loves fruit and cheese, but I can't get him to eat meat or veggies. While at the commissary recently, I decided to buy a couple of the Gerber Graduates for Toddlers Lil' Entrees. They are complete meals that include a side of veggies and the whole entree is a perfect size portion.

I started my son on these when he was around 1 and they were great all the servings are great the variety is even better. My family members had never heard of the products before but I decided to try them and I am so glad I did. When my son was around that age we were still in South Carolina because my husband was in the Marine Corp so we traveled home a lot. These things came in handy because he was eating "big people" food but was getting what he needed instead of having everone trying to feed him all sorts of junk it was nice and so easy to pop in the microwave and just heat up we could even...
