My son received the Baby Einstein takealong tunes toy on a visit to Grandmas 2 years ago.  He was immediately drawn to the lights and sounds the toy made.  We made the mistake of breaking one and had to search for another one immediately.  This item is readily available now and for a great price of about $7!  For this price you can afford to have a back up.  I like that you can attach links to this toy and then attach it to the car seat or stroller.  The battery life on this toy was good and you have warning as the music slows down.  This toy is great for stimulating a child's vision and...

It's time to retire my son's baby Einstien musical MP3 player.  It's been a wonderful companion to him but he's now ready to move on to bigger Baby Einstien toys.  I have loved this for my son for the last 17 months.  It was, for quite some time, the only toy I could give him that would keep his attention while I changed his diaper.  He hated diaper changes without it.

My son has had the Baby Einstein Takealong Tunes toy for about three months now. It is easy to use and he loves the colorful lights and music! I love that the music plays for an extended period of time(about a minute or so), so baby can push the button once and enjoy the music and lights.

The toy has an off button and two different sound settings. And yes, that off button is important as I have a few musical toys that randomly go off when no one is even looking at them!

The Baby Einstein Collection is wonderful for parents and children alike as it makes entertainment and education one complete package. The Takealong Tunes is no exception. It is easy to hold for the infant, brightly colored and fun to play with. My favorite thing is that the music is actually pleasant to listen to unlike so many other kids toys where you just go crazy hearing the same tune over and over again. The music makes me want to play it thus it the baby is happy and I am happy, a hard combination to come by when it comes to baby toys.

I brought this for my daughter to introduce her to classical music.  She loves it.  She was 7  months when I bought it and figured out how to press the buttons herself.  She loves the colors that flash as the music plays.  She has also uses the handle as a teething ring.  I would recommend this to any parent.
