Baby Einstein My First Signs - See and Sign with Baby Review

 

Baby Einstein's "My First Signs - See and Sign with Baby" is a fantastic experience that should be enjoyed by all parents and their children. This DVD opens doors that were not available when some of us were small and gives your child(ren) a great start in the world of communication.

This DVD, like all Baby Einstein works, is a bit deceptive because Einstein loads their DVDs with music and images that can sometimes appear to be random. The difference here, though, is that this DVD is more focused as it successfully teaches your child some of the most basic and first used words from many homes. Some of the words they put to pictures, video and music are: mommy, daddy, baby, kiss, and I love you. It's extremely helpful to show so many related images for each word. Learning becomes all that much easier for even the brightest child.

This video has clips of puppets that children find entertaining. The toys that are used throughout this, and all Baby Einstein videos, are always interesting. Also, you are able to see all of this accompanied by very enjoyable classical music that is arranged for young children. This DVD is a superb way to expose your child to learning and the arts in one compact vessel.

If that weren't enough for you, this DVD enlists the talents of Marlee Matlin, Academy Award Winner! Marlee is seen throughout the video showing you and your child how to sign the words that the children are learning! At our home, it was incredible to have our children communicate with us, using sign language, before they could speak! It doesn't have to stop here, either. Our kids still love using sign language.

The DVD also provides languages. Kids are able to learn all of the same words in Spanish and French as well as English. Please, take the time to explore all of the features and use all of the tools that are provided on the disc. In no time at all your little ones will know plenty more than you may have thought possible!
