Most HelpfulThe whole idea of television for babies, when we hear again and again that children under 2 really should not watch any, is appalling. But I'll get off my soapbox and admit that sometimes it's helpful to have a video to pop in just long enough to hop in the shower or make an important phone call. Just...
read full review »First of all, I'd like to say that I agree you should minimize TV time for children, ESPECIALLY babies. I didn't start my daughter on these videos until she was more than 1 year old. She loved them and learned many knew words, even ASL words that she didn't learn from me. I am a parent who does believe in spending quality time with my children, even though I work and have a very busy schedule. These videos are designed so that you sit and watch then with your child and explain what is going on. I did this in the beginning, but as she got older I didn't have to because she began to identify...
read full review »I would be lying if I said that I show Baby Einstein videos to my son because they are educational - yes that's a huge consideration - but the main reason is that Baby Einstein videos mean I can take a shower! My son loves watching these and their 22 minute length allows me just enough time to jump in the shower and dress without worrying that my son needs attention or is unhappy. All of the DVD's are amazing - Baby Van Gogh, Baby Mozart, Neighborhood Animals, Baby Neptune, Baby Shakespeare...I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite. The same with my son. The production quality is amazing,...
read full review »Let's face it, lots of parents say they don't want their child watching too much TV. However I feel these videos are fantastic, educational and provide an often needed break for working mommies! I was skeptical of these videos at first, yet received a set of these when my son was born. We started watching them when my son was about a year old. Baby Mozart was a soothing, and beautiful DVD, and five years later is still my son's favorite. We showed him Baby Santa two months later at Christmas time. Let me just say, if you pick the right TV shows to play for your children they can and...
read full review »When I had my first child I recieved the baby mozart dvd with the music cd. Once my daughter got older we would watch the dvd and she would be instantly captivated with the sounds and images on the screen.
I loved her reaction and appreciated the fact that the images and characters were not anoying or obnoxious for me to watch. So many childrens videos have characters that are loud or way to corny for adults to watch. As so many parents realize though we will be watching these videaos with our kids over, and over, and over again. I like that when I put on the baby einstein videos I don't...
read full review »I have used "Baby Einstein" Movies since the day my four year old was born. As a new born, I played Baby Mozart for him. It is designed to stimulate the brain by sight and sound. He loved it, he would lay there on the floor or in his bouncer, just kicking, and smiling, and making all kinds of happy baby sounds.
I kept buying them as he got older and I was able to use them for my second son also. And they are still fun for the older kids to watch along side the younger kids. They offer different learning levels of shapes, colors, music, instruments, animals(farm, water, pets, etc), words,...
