This is a such a wonderful collection.  It  introduces baby to classical music - research has shown this style of music increases intelligence.  I have found it to be very soothing and calming for fussy little ones (and/or parents).  A good suggestion would be to send it along with your little one to the babysitter's!!  I believe this would be a great gift for a baby shower or a new baby.  The shorter versions of each song are more geared to little ones' shorter attention spans.  They are likely to love it for years to come.
