Baby Einstein Baby Newton DVD Review Summary
Baby Einstein Baby Newton DVD is a musical learning DVD for toddlers and preschoolers. It teaches through music basic recognitions skills of colors, shapes and counting. Buds1chick says, “She loves to dance along to the music, and it really has taught her shapes.” Even parents that don’t agree with allowing their children to watch television or DVD’s for the most part agree that each child can enjoy and learn something from this one. Lilsquibb had her doubts, but “We would always talk about the shapes on the screen and what was happening in the clips as well as mentioning what colors were on the screen. This is good for vocabulary growth as well as shape (and color) recognition.” This video gave her and her husband time with their child while he was learning. Children with special needs will also enjoy the vivid colors, calming music and learning activities. Lamsmom1 says, “My 5 year old non-verbal daughter especially. She asks in her own way to watch them on a daily basis. Personally, I was mildly excited about Disney buying the Baby
Einstien company. They had more resources to develop more
products and bring them to market, perhaps faster. A
Family-oriented entertainment company buying an infant-oriented
entertainment company. It made sense.
Unfortunately, they have effectively killed Baby Einstein.
Instead of a video of "real world objects" they have gone
computer-generated. Ok, the intro is classic Baby Einstein
stuff, but that's where it ends. It is not recognizable as a
Baby Einstein DVD after the intro.
Get Baby Mozart & Baby Bach for your very young infant. They
will...
the first time i ever heard about baby einstien was on youtube, i was wondering what would be a good developmental groth video for my four month old. so thier it was BABY EINSTIEN! huh to think that this was going to be nothing like i thought i brought my 4 mth old to the computer and as soon as she seen the screen she couldnt lay her eyes off of it. i was like oh my god... i cant believe that my four month old is really watching this. tho that is what the movie is made for i just couldnt believe my eyes, she really loves this video. is it the colors,movement or even the sound effect. i dont kno....

The baby einstein baby newton movie is excellent, it captures young minds! But I hope parents realize it's important to limit tv time of any kind. It's a proven fact that kids that watch less tv are smarter than those that do, even if they are limited to educational movies and programs. Interacting with mom and dad is much better for children than tv.
