Over the Shoulder Baby Holder Baby Sling/Wrap

— We bought an Over the Shoulder Baby Holder sling when our son was three months old. We purchased this because it is adjustable enough so that my husband and I can both use it to carry our son around. I needed a little practice with it before being 100% comfortable, but it didn't take long to get used to it. It was great to help our son get to sleep or just soothe him and it is very easy to breastfeed in. The fabric is sturdy, soft, and lightweight enough to wear comfortably in the summer. We ended up purchasing a second sling to keep in the car, so we have one around at all times.… read full review »

Moby Wrap

I wanted to love the Moby Wrap, but I couldn't. It was just too long and bulky for a quick wrap in public. Also, the back carry is impossible to put on by yourself and looks dangerous. The newborn hold didn't work well for me, either. My baby did enjoy the out-facing carry until about four months of age, but I will stick with my sling pouches! —… read full review »

I bought a hotsling for my second son after reading several good things about it from other moms. I loved my hotsling as did my son! The only drawback that I really came across was that it was a little difficult to master putting him in and getting him out at first. Once I got the hang of it, it wasn't a big deal, though. I spent a lot of my maternity leave at the library with my infant son peacefully napping while I perused the books. It's also great for discreet breastfeeding. When he did get a little fussy in the sling, I was able to breastfeed very discreetly, no matter where I was. — —… read full review »

I really enjoy my hotsling and have used it now through 3 babies and 4 years. I couldn't imagine cooking dinner, going on walks, cleaning, or shopping without it! I often get stopped asking if it's easy to use, comfortable for me, or comfortable for the baby. My answer is always ....… read full review »

I finally discovered the Hotsling with my last baby.  I have used a variety of slings over the past few years and have never found one that was both easy to use and comfortable.  I dealt with back pain, clumsy buckles, belts and slides.  Slings I needed another adult to help me put on.  Slings where I nearly dropped my son on his head.  Low and behold the savior that is the Hotsling!  So easy to use!  No instruction videos or manuals needed.  Extra comfortable and available in lots of stylish fabrics!  Plus I can just roll it up and toss it in my… read full review »

I had a friend give me this carrier while I was pregnant ( she had two) and I couldn't wait to use it! — I love it. — First of all, I have the one that is bright orange and red and I absolutely LOVE the colors. — I have had my baby in this since she was practically born. — She still enjoys being in it at 9 months. — The best part about it is it is the best thing to travel with...very convienent to have both hands free in an airport. —… read full review »

We just got our Ergo, 9 months in with our 2nd baby.  I wish I'd known of the greatness of this carrier sooner.  My 9 month old is about 24 lbs and I can carry him comfortably in the Ergo while chasing his almost 3 year old sister around for a good long while.  Its easy to use, easy on the back, nice looking, and just amazing.  We love… read full review »

I loved the moby wrap while my son was little. He was born a big baby (almost 11lbs.) and I only used this for a month or so. I was very intimiated by the length when I first opened it. I struggled a little bit with trying to figure it out. I was able to carry my son with me all te time, which was great because I was able to work and have him with me. When he became older and weighted more, I had to move to another carrier. —  I also found that this one I was always hot. I often felt that I was having hot flashes! —… read full review »

Peanut Shell Baby Carrier

This is the best product I have found yet. We have been using the Peanut Shell since baby was 3 months old and will continue to use until she won't fit any more. I love having my hands free to chase and coral the other 3. When baby is fussy slide baby into sling and she calms right down. We went to disneyland in march and it was the best thing I could have taken with me. She lived in her SHELL the whole time. I talked with so many new moms and expecting moms I could not belive it. It was easy to nurse her in it on several of the ride and no one noticed. It was so easy on my back. I even had… read full review »

I bought this for my son and have used it for my daughter as well.   There are certain places that make navigating a stroller quite difficult and these are the places that this carrier came in handy for me!  Not to mention that the baby tends to be quieter because he's being "held" and snuggled close to mommy!  I still have it and can't wait to pass it along to one of my friends.  Of course, you can't use this with newborns, which is the only… read full review »

My daughter loves the snugli, although my back disagrees. My daughter eventually grew out of the baby sling, so we decided to get a carrier that she could see the world in. The carrier does come in handy for those time that you don't wanna lug around a car seat and stroller and is very comfortable for the baby, but after awhile, reallly does a number on your back. On top of that, when baby falls asleep in the front facing position, it's VERY HARD to switch her around. The fold down flap doesn't help much, and most times my baby is just kinda dangling forward. Overall I like this carrier, but… read full review »

Before purchasing this carrier I had given up on being able to wear my daughter.  I had tried baby biornj, moby, slings, and the snuggli.   As a plus sized woman none of them fit comfortably for me or my daughter.  They either slipped, pulled or killed my back.  Then one day at a baby expo I was desperate to get my sweetie to take a nap she was sooo cranky.  One of the ladies selling these carriers suggested I try it.  I just knew it wouldn't work then with in miniutes after puting her in the carrier she was out like a light! — To make it even better it… read full review »

I was so excited to become a parent and to babywear. I invested in this sling since it look so comfortable and safe. What could be better than the velco straps?? My little one didn't fit it in well and would just be buried in fabric. There is so much elastic that she would just sink way down when I would wear it. She was hot and fussy after 5 mins and the strap was really uncomfortable for me.  It is now wasting space in my… read full review »

Yes, it's expensive.  And yes, you won't use it for that long.  But during those first critical months, anything that keeps baby happy and allows you to get a few things done is worth it.  My husband loved wearing this with our daughter...she loved it, he enjoyed the closeness, and I got some much-needed… read full review »

A fabulous carrier for the warm weather. Keeps baby snuggly and close to you. Much easier to use than some of the other carriers on the market. I only wish a bib came with the carrier. For $100.00 you should get a bib. Makes a great shower gift. Our daughter uses it for our granddaughter all the… read full review »
