My hair has finally gotten longer so I decided to try the Baby Liss Extended Plates Iron.  Believe me when I say, I researched them all, plus have tried a number of flat irons when my hair was shorter.  This wasn't a bad iron; however, the iron heated up so quickly that the outsides got so hot I could barely hold it.  I loved the extended plates and the high temperature setting, but it was impossible to hold after a awhile.   The heat was intense on the outside.  I even tried lowering the temperature because I really liked it because of the plates.  I ended up returning it because I couldn't...
