The Baby Bjorn was a life saver for me after the birth of my son. After my husband went back to work and my mother went back home to Chicago (we live in New York City), the Bjorn allowed me to get things done around the house without having to strap the baby in the stroller all the time.… read full review »

Baby-wearing is a fantastic way to bond with your new child and make parenting more enjoyable. I highly recommend all new parents invest in a high-quality carrier that works for them. The 80 dollar price tag on a Baby Bjorn should not be a deterrent for something a baby wearer will use every day. … read full review »

I have a bad back, so this might have impacted my low score of the Baby Bjorn. We have two baby carriers: the Tri-Cotti and the Baby Bjorn. The Tri-Cotti is made of soft jersey fabric, so it does stretch. And my husband refuses to wear it. So we got the Baby Bjorn for him. He likes it! I tried it a few times and after 10-20 minutes it felt like my back was about to break. I still use it for short intervals or to nurse while shopping, although that is not nearly as easy as with the Tri-Cotti. What I do like about it is that it's easy to put on and take off. If the baby falls asleep and… read full review »

This is the perfect way to travel with a newborn. You can strap them on and away you go! The good thing is that they can sleep in the carrier and you can use your hands. In the beginning, while their head is still fragile, they must face inward. Over time, and as their head strengthens, you can face them outward so that they can see the world as you do! — I like that the bijorn is black and simple in style. I am not certain whether or not you can wash it in the washing machine, but spot cleaning and hanging to dry seemed to work perfectly fine for me. — The first… read full review »

Being a first time mum and a single parent with a small home business to run, meant having to juggle alot of balls in the air.  Being Safety conscious without alot of knowledge or experience in baby products I found the prospect of finding a safe child carrier for my son daunting. — I wanted a product that was safe, practical, versatile and comfortable for both my son and myself. I had tried a baby sling and did not feel it provided enough support.  I was then given a baby-bjorn carrier and have never looked back! — Its versastility (could… read full review »

A huge FYI to all parents...If the Baby Bjorn is not adjusted correctly you will indeed experience sore back muscles! —   My story started with a try at the wrap-type sling thing. It was pretty confusing and frustrating to say the lest. I then had the brillant idea to research and read through many  baby carrier reviews. Long story short, I ended up purchasing a New (not Used) Original Baby Bjorn sling. — After 30 minutes of carrying my child I did indeed experienced the back aches and sore shoulder muscles .I thought maybe… read full review »

I heard that this was the best baby carrier and that I had to get it.  I received it as a gift and was a a bit surprised when I first used it.  There is not much to it, and it does not have good back support.  It has two straps that criss cross in the back which puts a lot of strain on your back when carrying the baby.  I have seen other carriers that have additional support that goes around your waist and those look like they would be a lot more  comfortable.  I have hardly used it and will probably get a better one for my next… read full review »

I bought this when my son was born in 2003. We used it alot. He loved it. We washed it a couple of times but it still looks new. In April I had a little girl. She loves to be with mommy all the time. This makes it possible for me to go out and grocery shop, or take my son to the park. — Absolutely a must… read full review »

I am the mother of three children and I used my Baby B'jorn with all of them.  I started using the Baby B'jorn when they first came out in 1996 with my daughter (who is now 11).  It was about $125 then!  It was the only carrier that was easy to use.  With other carriers, it was a hassle to get her in and out of it.  This was a major pain especially after she just fell asleep and we wanted to put her down!  With the Baby B'jorn, we never had a problem with waking her up ever again!  My daughter was also so small that she fit in it up until she was 2 years… read full review »

Absolutely loved this!!! It is a bit expensive (I think it's the name I paid for) but it was worth it. I used it for doing the laundry, doing dishes, and even breastfeeding if I needed to go to the store and she got hungry. Lengthen one strap, tighten the other, one hand for support - voila! One of those beach wrap skirts with a pretty design - so it would be light & breathable on her head - and no one ever had any idea what was going on as I placed groceries in my cart. — If you have a teeny baby, then you really need to pay atention to the cautions, weight, length, and… read full review »

When my son was first born I had a Fisher Price baby carrier.  I would take him on walks around the neighborhood and return with an aching back and a stomach drenched in sweat.  After several months, my sister passed along to me her Baby Bjorn carrier.  What a difference!  The straps were much more comfortable and the design allowed my son's weight to be distributed better so I could wear him much longer before experiencing pain. It did take a little while to get used to the way the straps work, but once you get it down it's easy.  We went on vacation to… read full review »

I must first say that I am not too fond of this product for myself. It hurts my back after about 30 min.  I prefer a hip carrier, they are more comfortable and more trendy too. However,my DH absolutely loves is bjorn and pretty much this was the only way he would carry the babies. He likes that it's handsfree so he can play his 360 while our little one is happily smuggled to his chest. We purchased one brand new for DD1 that got handed down to DD2, we then gave it to a friend. We bought one for DS from a consignment shop where it will go back to when we are finished with it. We cringed at… read full review »

We bought this bag after trying many different ones for all of my sons things. The main reason for buying it was because it could be carried on my back, so it was one less thing to carry and because it matched my son's Baby Bjorn carrier.  I LOVE having a backpack diaper bag, it's so nice having one less thing to carry.  They're also great for flying.  We're expecting our second child and have already ordered another one for the new baby. —  I really like to shop and a lot of times when I go shopping the basket under the stroller is packed with bags.  When it… read full review »

This product isn't as great as everyone made it out to be. It's confusing to use, difficult to get a squirming baby settled into, makes both baby and mom overheat (especially in warm weather!), its hard on mom's back and shoulders. I can never get the front flap to fold over like the package pictures so its always right in my baby's face. — I can't see how people clean and do laundry with this on - you can't bend over, the baby's head/face is right under your chin. I would not use this in the mall or grocery store simply b/c its not comfortable to walk around like this for any… read full review »
