This hair flat iron is good, so long as you have a specific purpose for using it. It is NOT a good all-purpose straightener for hair. It is best to use for children's hair, bangs, or maybe adult hair that is fine and very short. I have medium length and thickness hair, and this iron does NOT work for me. As long as you do not intend to use this for a full head of hair, the product is excellent and great quality. Gets very hot, although no at hot at my other full-size Babyliss iron(which is good for fine hair). Effectiveness A good iron for certain purposes. Good for fine, thin, short hair (bangs, children, thin and short adult hair, etc...) Durability We have had this for over 3 years, and it was designated for use by my daughter. It is still in the condition I purchased it in. We have seen almost no wear or signs of damage on this iron. We have traveled with is many, many times and use it at least 1-2 times per week. It works exactly as well as id did the day I purchased it. It takes up very little storage room, so it is very easy to find a safe place to store this.

I own many flat irons and i can say that the babyliss ceramic professional mini straightening iron is perfect for travel. It is great for shorter hair, you can use it in longer hair but it will take an extremely long time to do. the Babyliss Mini Straightening Iron provides fast, flawless results while you are on the go!  It performs up to 40% faster than the average flat iron which is great you can complete your style alot quicker.It has very high heat levels of up to 430 degrees which provides a fast, flawless result. It also has a digital ionic LED temperature setting and dual voltage to use when you are traveling. It is so lightweight and is only about 6 inches long with a swivel cord which is about 6.00 oz. Because its only 6 inches in length it gets extremely close to the scalp. Overall its a great product for on the go like i stated above. Its nice to have a small back up straightening iron that helps you keep your hair nice and straight while your in the middle of your busy day and it doesnt take a whole lot of time to complete. I love this straightener and would definately recommend it to anyone.

Although its tiny in size, don't let that fool you. It makes up for its size in it amazing ability to make your hair straight, just like any "normal" size straightener would. I use this "on the go". Whenever I travel, I take this one with me. My hair is medium thickness. It works great. I usually do layers. Pin some hair up do the bottom, and work my way through. It takes a little time to do but the outcome is no different then if I used a normal size BaByliss straightener. My cousin turned me on to this product. If you hair thin hair this would be perfect for you. You wouldn't have to do many layer, if at all. I also really love this product, and brand, because I never get the static, that other straighteners may cause. I have no real problem with the static in the first place, but I know many people who do. So this product is something you would like, if static is one of the things you hate. Its a little pricier than I'd like but, I think its well worth it. And I just like tiny, I think its cute!

this flatiron works amazingly! it was very simple to use and very compact for travel! i was able to turn myhorrible frizzy corse hair into an amazing work of art.my hair is now managible and is easy to re-straighten. i recommend this hair styler for people that really want that silky feel to their hair! this product will leave all statisfyed at first use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is truely a must have product. and you can even adjust the heat settings to better straighten your type of hair! i even use this product for my young  cousins and it leaves little or no damage to your hair folicales!! if your looking for aproduct that caters to all your hair needs this i truely your product!! after years of searching i will not settle for anything less! and as a skeptical young person i can truely say that this product will work for you just as it did for me and my family!
