Burt's Bees super shiny natural lipgloss is a 100% natural sheer lipgloss I have the zesty red and the pucker berry both of which I use daily, this gloss is excellent not too thick not too thin but just right like a lipbalm.  I love the packaging because it is a tube that doesn't leak and can be applied by the tube or finger so it is pocket friendly.  The flavor is subtle and not too overwhelming.  This lipgloss also has awesome ingredients like sunflower seed oil and almond oil. Love this gloss!

After trying the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Merlot and loving it, I was anxious to try the Burt's Bees Super Shiny Natural Lip Gloss in Zesty Red.  I was actually quite disappointed in the product.  It provides almost no color even though the packaging provides a great look at the color waiting for you inside.  Also, it almost fees oily on my lips and just messy.  I didn't like anything about this product.  Sometimes I will use it to apply over other lip color to add a gloss look, but NEVER wear it alone.  I am just not a fan of the Gloss and won't be repurchasing.  If you want moisture and lots of color, I would highly recommend Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer.  And if you already bought the gloss and aren't happy with it, you can apply a coat of it over your fabulous Lip Shimmer shade!  I love that this is an all natural product, but there are better gloss options out there that provide more color on your lips.  Shop around on this one.

You don't have to spend a fortune to detox your beauty products and you don't need to order everything from the EU to get quality organics either.  Burt's Bees products are available at most drug stores and big box retailers.  This is a company I trust to produce quality beauty products with low or no toxins in them.  I am especially concerned about the toxins found in products I apply to my lips- since we actually eat a lot of our lipsticks, lip glosses and lip balms while we wear them.  this is one thing I am not willing to risk exposure to unregulated chemical additives.  Burt's Bees super Shiny natural lipgloss does contain mica, so if you're concerned about this, skip this product- but even with Mica in it, the lipgloss is fairly low on the toxicity scale; its rated 3 out of 10 on the skin deep cosmetics safety data base, as compared to other lipglosses on the market.  (that brand that makes all the fun flavors little girls like so much is an EIGHT!!)  Overall, i would recommend this product to anyone who is concerned about toxins in their personal care products, or anyone who is looking to start detoxing their beauty products because it makes sense to start with products applied near or on your lips. nose and eyes.
