I would buy again

Stroller is sturdy, easy to set up and very lightweight. Has great add-on accessories available through company (I HIGHLY recommend the rain cover!) it's perfect for a trip to the zoo, jogging, long walks anywhere. It's a great sporty stroller.

I wish I used it more!

5

This stroller is a great stroller, and I only wish I used it more often! This is the best stroller for jogging, running or race walking, but outside of those fitness activities I usually opt for one of my other strollers. I use this stroller the least of all my strollers, but when I do use it for exercise purposes, it really is great. The nice over-sized wheels are what really sets this one apart from other running strollers, because it gives it so much more stability. It just feels more secure and smooth riding than it's smaller wheeled competitors. My number one concern with a running stroller is safety and this one really feels like it delivers the most. It has a nice center of gravity so even hitting some rough spots on the road, it doesn't feel like it could topple or tip as some other running strollers feel. Its got a nice weight to it to make it feel sturdy, but not so much that you feel like you are working a lot harder to push the extra weight. It does not fold down very small, but that is only because it has those nice big wheels, so it is worth the sacrifice of space. The seat seems very comfortable for my little ones and I am able to use this with my infant, toddler and even my preschooler so this definitely transitions well with my babies ages and stages. Design It's those beautiful big wheels that deliver the nice smooth safe ride. Safety My highest priority in a running stroller, and this was the best of all the models I have tried. Maneuverability Great on most terrains, though I tend to stay on fairly smooth paths.

Great stroller

I love our Ironman. It is very sturdy and yet lightweight. My baby and I use it almost daily, it is easy to maneuver but doesn't turn tightly. However it's so light that it is easy just to lift it up a little. Jogging with it is effortless, and the ride is fairly smooth for the baby. It collapses easily and becomes very flat, especially if you take off the wheels, which only takes a few seconds. I ordered the accessories holder that Velcro's to the handles. It is nice to have that even though the bottom provides plenty of storage. I have the bright yellow color, I feel like it's highly visible in that color. Design It looks great. Child Comfort My daughter fit comfortably in it at 6 months old. The straps don't accommodate tiny babies very well, but the carseat adapter works great until they are large enough. Maneuverability Turns aren't very tight, but i feel like for a jogger it maneuvers very well. Durability I've only used mine for 7 months but so far I haven't had a problem.

Great for jogging

4

The BOB Ironman stroller has been a really great stroller for jogging. It's easy to push and handles uneven terrain really well. My little one is usually very content to sit in it, usually for up to an hour or so. I like the little pockets on the inside by the child where you can stow toys or other items for them to play with at their leisure. The biggest drawback is how bulky the stroller is. It would be very difficult to get it into the trunk of a smaller car. It barely fits in the back of a small SUV. You can remove the tires to help fit it into smaller spaces, but that is a pain to have to deal with in your getting it in and out of the car and also dealing with getting a child in and out of it as well. Design Would be nice if it were more compact when folded. Child Comfort My little one usually enjoys riding it along in the stroller, there is minimal whining. Maneuverability This stroller maneuvers very well, it has been easy to turn and handles curbs and bumps with ease.

Excellent stroller but don't like the front wheel

4

I would give this a 10 but hated the front wheel. It was a breeze to push while walking or jogging and put many miles on it with my daughter. The color was awesome since it stood out better and was easier to see which made me feel a bit safer. Design Loved that it could recline and my daughter took many naps in it. It was very sturdy and had solid construction. I only wish the front wheel was able to pivet...which I understand wouldn't make it the same but I loved the color and how it stood out while using it for its intended purpose...a jogging stroller. But with a locked front wheel it made it hard to turn when you are out jogging with it. Safety The color just adds to the safety factor. Child Comfort My daughter loved being in it and was always comfortable in it. Maneuverability Hard to make turns when you are out for a long run and have corners to go around or even mild winding roads. Durability These things will last forever if taken care of properly.

The Only Way to Go

I have to say that when I first learned the price of a bob stroller, I all but dismissed the thought of one.  But, after hearing all the rave reviews, I purchased one for my grandson.  He was a newborn at the time and the first outting was to the mall.  I was pleased with the way it handled and the convenient infant set up but it was when we took him for a walk at home that I was truly impressed.  Our town is quite small and does not have good sidewalks.  There are lots of trails to cut through to get to one place from the other unless you want to go way out of the way.  I was very happy with the way this stroller cut through the trails and traveled on the gravel and even across sizeable rocks.  Even in the sand the stroller trucked on through and I have even had it out in the snow and it did well.  Now we have a second baby and he is also enjoying the bob stroller.  I have a lot of mothers ask me about the stroller, especially when they are struggling the keep theirs from getting stuck on the trails.  I love this stroller.

Good jogging stroller

We got this as a hand-me-down, so ours is 6 years old and showing it, but it is still not bad considering. I suppose it could be better, but from my experience, strollers just don't last that long, so it seems to suit it's purpose and has done so for many years. The brakes still work great, though they don't lock as well as they used to when we first got it over 2 years ago. The tires deflate pretty quickly, but will last for a week or two after they are pumped up. Not a big deal to pump them up as needed, you just have to remember to check the tires before you go out on a run. The steering is difficult since the wheels don't turn, so it is best used for jogging on straight paths. The bright yellow color is great for safety.

The Best Jogging Stroller

5

I have been a runner for most of my life, so when I was pregnant with my son I knew I was going to invest in a good jogging stroller. I did a lot of research before deciding on which stroller to get and in the end decided on the BOB Ironman. This stroller is relatively light at ~25lbs which compared to many other joggers is good. It comes with many different attachements such as a car seat adapter(not necessary) and a cup holder (which I find necessary) and more. I have been running with my son in this stroller since he was 6 months old and he's loved it. The front wheel is fixed, which is how it should be when running. Other strollers have the revolving week (The BOB Revolution) which is great if you are planning on using it as an everyday stroller/walking stroller. Since I have a much smaller stroller for errands I did not need this added benefit. I find that the stroller steers relatively easy once you get the hang of it and appreciate the generous sun shade which is awesome for my son. The shocks really absorb the bumps and my son enjoys our runs. I like the safety features such as the hand strap and the hand brake as well. I do make sure that the pressure in the tires is kept where it should be and only run on sidewalks and roads so i'm not sure how it would handle on trails. Overall I love this stroller and would recommend it as jogging stroller (not an everyday stroller).

Best BOB around

5

We bought our BOB just a few months after our son was born, because I wanted to be able to continue to keep up my active running schedule, but I really didn't use it consistently with him until he was about a year and better able to sit up.  I LOVE it!  It is easy to use and great at keeping my son from jostling around.  It rides smoothly and is easy to turn and manuever with just a the turn of the wrist.  I also really like the emergency strap that breaks quickly just in case I need to stop suddenly.  And the best part is he loves it too.  He can see and ride easily and the little pockets on each side of the seat are perfect for stowing books and toys for him to look at while I run.  We take it everywhere.  There are a couple of less attactive features.  First, the stroller is large and heavy and much more easily transported in with a minivan or SUV, but did fit in the trunk of our Chrysler Sebring.  It also is disappointing that everything including the cup holder for me is extra.  It's also not great for many retail stores, because it's longer.

My BOB stroller turns heads!

5

I am an avid runner and ran my first half-marathon in 2009. When I did a little research I knew I wanted the best for my growing family, while staying healthy and instilling a healthy lifestyle to my kids.  I really wanted to get out on the road with a product I could trust and would stand the test of time.  I had my heart set on a BOB stroller. Right now my little girl is only 3mo so I am using it with the car seat attachment bar (which is fantastic), so we have been going for nice long walks. Come fall I am planning on taking it for my first run (when she is 6mo). The stroller is really easy to fold and put into my trunk, so I always have it on the go.  I do have to take off one of the wheels to get it to fit, but it is super easy to take off and put back on.  The sun canopy gives my little one plenty of protection from wind and sun where she is sitting in her car seat.  It also provides a nice smooth ride for my little girl.  The yellow color is nice and bright - I don't want anyone missing us (especially fast moving cars, etc.) I get lots of people stopping and asking what type of stroller it is.  It is a bit on the heavy side, but then again I did not get it to be our everyday stroller - I got it to run with.
