This vaccum is great, it practically sucks everything up. The only con is I once. Acummed after it with a shark and the other vaccum picked up dust this vaccum did not get.

I received this vacuum when I got married almost 5 years ago. I am an avid vacuumer and vaccum atleast once a day. My house has a variety of carpet lengths and this vacuum does great. I love that you can adjust the height for the carpet. I even use it on my hardwood floors just to pick up the big stuff. This vacuum is very easy to empty and the filters are very easy to clean. I really like how you can take the canister off and dump the junk righht in the trash, without having to use those nasty bags and have it spill everywhere. The filters i just wash off in the sink and air dry and they work like a dream. I have never replaced them, they clean up that good. I don't have any animals in my house so I don't deal with animal hair in my vacuum. But I do have a two year old so there are lots of Cheerios and goldfish that get sucked up in this vacuum and it doesn't seem to effect it. The cord is very long on this vacuum so I am able to get around almost my whole house without having to unplug and move.

I purchased this vacuum approximately 2 years ago and it is still working great today. I have three young children who continuously are making messes with cereal, snacks, ripped paper, etc. This vacuum has managed to pick up every mess without trouble. I use it on my low rugs, tiled kitchen and bathroom floors, as well as a shaggy rug without any problems. It has never "eaten" any of my rugs like some other vacuums I have had in the past either. This vacuum is pretty easy to carry but is not the most light weight I think I could have gotten. It maneuvers fairly easily and also adjusts to let the handle down in order to vacuum under tables, chairs, or beds without having to move them around. The suction is very good and the attachments make it nice to clean my upholstered furniture. The only downfall is cleaning the vacuum bins. When they are taken out dust usually sprays out along with it but in a minimal amount. The instructions say to buy new filters from time to time but I have just been washing them in water and allowing them to air dry completely without any problems. Overall, this was a great purchase at a great price for a vacuum and I would definitely look for the same or similar Bissell vacuum when this one eventually does die off. Maneuverability Very easy. My young kids can do it. Ease of Maintenance Easy to empty but a little messy sometimes. Versatility Attachments come with it and can be used on many different floors. Design Could be a little lighter. Durability My toddlers have threw it over to the ground numerous times without any damage done.
