BIC Soleil Triple Blade Razor with Lube Strip For Women Review Summary

The majority of reviewers give the thumbs down to the BIC Soleil Triple Blade Razor with Lube Strip For Women. This disposable razor has a scented handle, a lubricating strip, and three blades for a close shave. Most reviewers say the shave is TOO close, causing nicks, cuts, and razor burn. KSalazar says, "I shaved one leg and had nics and cuts everywhere." Some reviewers feel that the BIC Soleil Triple Blade Razor with Lube Strip For Women is the best razor they have used and it gets their legs baby smooth while most say it's just too rough on their skin and definitely NOT for sensitive skin. Mypreciouspookie says, " It's hard to find women's razors that are as sharp as men's razors, but I think these ones are." Check out all of our razor reviews and see which ones are the most loved and hated among the many brands.

I recently ran out of my refill blades for my Gillette Venus Razor For Women that I absolutely love. I happened to have a package of BIC Soleil Triple Blade Razors with Lube Strip for Women that I was given as part of a birthday gift from my sister. I had not used them because I was perfectly happy with...

I bought this razor and refills and was VERY disappointed with the product. I shaved one leg and had nics and cuts everywhere. (i shave a lot and rarely cut myself). "Ouch, ouch, ouch and ouch again!!!"

I would not recommend these razors to anyone, ever!  I was shopping one afternoon on an extremely limited budget and could not afford my usual Venus razors.  So I saw these disposables for a fraction of the price and figured "What the heck, why not?"  If I could go back in time I would have run out of the store smuggling my Venus razors before ever again purchasing these terrible razors.  I ended up with nicks and cuts all over the place, horrible razor burn all over the backs of my thighs, and I'm pretty sure the useless scent all over them gave me some...

I am allergic to ALOE. The front of the package said these razors were for "sensitive skin" . How was I to know the back of the package said that it contained Aloe and Vitamin E? I never thought I would have to read a package of razor blades for its ingredients. Razor blade packages should only contain RAZOR BLADES! I thought I was allergic to deodorant and soap at first  because I was getting these acute rashes, and then I stopped  using both under my armpits and just stank . But then rashes got worse, so I began to think I had some horrible disease, maybe even cancer! Then one day my son flipped...

I bought the BIC Soleil Citron Pivot version for my shore house and OWWW!!!  I wound up with the worst razor burn, even though I used it with my usual bikini shave gel!  It itched like crazy all weekend, bordering on torture since I couldn't even scratch.

Ladies, be forewarned- do NOT let the sun shine in!!!

This product works okay, but I have used much better for less money.  I am generally very pleased with the Bic brand of razors but the Bic Soleil did not meet my expectations.  The new blades shaved like they were years old and had never been replaced.  My legs and underarms were covered in razor burn and minor cuts everywhere.  I was extremely uncomfortable for a couple of days after using it.  It didn't matter how long I soaked or left the shaving cream on to soften the hair and make shaving easier.  I thought that maybe I just had a bad batch of razors, but I have repeatedly had the same...

I purchased these razors (Soleil) in the intent to use them instead of my usual brand. I bought 2 packages...hoping that they would be just as sufficient. Boy oh was I wrong. I did my usual routine: fill bathtub with hot water, soak, apply shaving gel and well...shave. From the first stroke, I was like "OH MY GOD!!! WHY AM I STILL SHAVING?!" So I continued to do so, mainly because I am budget conscious and did not want to waste them and also had no other razors. After shaving it seemed like every single hair follicle hole was bleeding and I had that oh so lovely razor burn sensation, especially... review »

I bought these razor's because there was an excellent sale at my neighborhood drug store, bic is not my usual brand and I was quickly reminded why after using these razors! I opened a brand new package & proceded to shave my legs & within 1 hour both of my legs were COVERED in a rash/razor burn, im still not sure which! It stayed for 3 to 4 days & was itchy & a bit painful, not to mention insanely UNATTRACTIVE! Ugh! Im not sure if I had an allergic reaction to the "moisture strip" on the razor or if the blades were very cheap, because as I mentioned before it was a brand new razor freshly removed...

I thought I'd give these a try since they were buy one get one free. They were awkward to use; the handle is in no way ergonomic. I tried the ones with the swivel heads too, and those were only slightly better since the stationary head has to be held at an awkward angle to shave. They were also scented, which was useless, and they lost their scent soon after the package was opened anyway. Shaving with this razor was even more painful than the cheapest disposables I ever used. It felt like it was tearing my skin off. The razor burn was so bad I had to use aloe lotion with lidocaine, and it didn't...

Soleil razors are a lifesaver for me, as I have very sensitive skin that tends to become irritated when I shave. When I use these razors (replacing them every week or so), I have very little irritation. And they are so inexpensive that it's not too much of a financial strain to replace them often, as you should with any disposable razor. It's hard to find women's razors that are as sharp as men's razors, but I think these ones are. That means I get a close, smooth shave every time that lasts longer than when I use other razors. I also love the choice of colors that the razors come in -- beautiful... review »

I'm glad I got these for free (by buying them on sale and using a coupon) because I didn't like these razors at all. The handle is large and curved in such a way that made it difficult to hold and angle properly. I didn't like shaving with it at all, and quickly threw it out so I could go back to my usual Daisy razors.

I decided to try out the BIC Soleil triple blade razor because of the three blades.  I thought that they would make shaving smoother and easier.  However, even with shaving cream, my legs continually got nicks.  Im not sure if the blades are too thin or what, but they didnt work well for me!

I have used the Bic Soleil and I can honestly say that I am glad that it was on sale. It cut my legs all up and I didn't even get a smooth shave. Definitely not recommened.

The BIC Soleil Triple Blade Razor was one of the best razors I've used! I didn't get cuts or razors burns like I do with other razors.

Bic Soleil is a bit pricey for disposable razors & doesn't give the closest shave. I would only buy on sale & with coupons.
