This is a terrible razor

1

This razor is terrible. It doesn't shave evenly, it won't rinse out, the handle shape does not have the grip in the right place.

What has happened?

These razors were my go to razors. Shaved EVERYTHING with them TWICE. The past few packs (I was hoping it was a glitch) have felt like I was dragging a piece of glass over my legs or a butter knife over my nether region. I have never had so many knicks! I have been shaving for 20 years. That means my shaving skills are in college. I would say they are in an Ivy leage school. Maybe not Harvard or Yale but probably MIT. That is an amazing track record. I used to cut the back of my knees and, WOW!, was that painful but I haven't done that in fifteen years. Until this morning in the shower. Now it hurts when I walk. I am going to the gym after work... not looking forward to that because not only does running suck, but now I have to run with not only the front of my knees hurting but also the back of my knees. I've been shaving with hair conditioner for as long as I can remember. It has always left a smooth finish. Now I am using conditioner to shave and coco butter lotion to moisturize afterwords. Not only are these razors leaving me with cut up legs and razor burned my lovely lady parts but they are costing me valuable morning routine time. I have to wait for the lotion to dry before I can proceed to get dressed. After the pain of shaving, I get razor bumps in the week after. Have you ever had an ingrown hair on your womanly taco? I have. And I had to have a doctor risk explosion to remove the ingrown hair. These razors will not get my recomendation.

Ouch!

Ok so coming from my point of view, I do have sensitive skin so when my face was incredibly inflamed after using this product, all I could do was blame myself. But there are a few thing that need to be addressed that I believe would affect everybody. First, I bought this product to save money. My proglide never lets me down but it is a bit expensive. The first thing I thought while using this razor was ow ow ow, the tug and pull is ridiculous, I don't know how I made it through an entire shave with this thing but with no backup I couldn't just continue my day half shaved. As I continued I realized it was just short of slicing my face to shreds! As blood dots formed and began to drip from several places on my face I knew I could get no further use from the razor. So, I did as I always do, gave it to my wife. She prefers men's razors because she thinks they're faster and more moisturizing, and every time I finish with a razor I give it to her as she can get more use out of it since her hair is much thinner and finer. Here was when I was surprised to hear that she hated it too! It cut her legs up just as it did my face and left her extremely irritated. Needless to say neither of us will be using these razors again.

I love the Bic Comfort 3 Advance disposable razor.

We received a package of Bic Comfort 3 Advance disposable razors as a free sample.  My husband  tried one of the razors to shave. The shaving head was  pivoted with triple blades which allowed the razor to shave more closely than most disposable razors.  The shave was quite smooth when he was finished.  I liked the quality of shave he received from the razor.  The razors come four in a pack and the price is a little bit more than the usual disposable razor but it is worth every penny.  It also has aloe and vitamin E for a comfortable shave for those with sensitive skin. The handle is contoured in a way that makes it very easy to hold comfortably. It also had a replaceable cap to cover the blade when not in use. My husband loved the shave he got from this disposable razor. I would recommend this razor to those who are looking for a quality shave or those whose skin is sensitive and need a little extra soothing.

Bic Comfort 3 Advance, is the only razor i use

I love these razors!! I bought a pack of them for my fiancee about a yr ago & ran out of the brand i had been using,so I grabbed one of my honey's razors & WOW! What a surprise I had, while using the razor & afterwards. I was amazed at how my legs felt after using his razors.  I couldn't have been more surprised at how well they shaved.  I rave about these to anyone that will listen to me, my sister is now hooked on this brand of razor also.  In my opinion this razor being a man's razor shaves much closer & better than the woman's razor.  The pivot head is awesome for around the knee caps & underarms.  I use the sensitive skin razors & I am pleased with how well they make my legs feel with out the irritation that I normally feel from other razors, I believe the aloe helps this.  This is the only brand of razor I buy & it will continue to be the only brand I believe in enough to recommend to family & friends.

Comfortable to hold and leaves a smooth shave!

I have tried many types of BIC razors, and most of them have been great.  Even though I have found some that I like a lot, I am always keeping my eyes open for new ones.  The last time I went to the commissary, I came across a BIC razor I haven't tried before: **BIC Comfort 3 Advance Razors**.  The packaging claims the following: - Three blades - Heavy handle - Pivoting head - Aloe & Vitamin E strips What I really like about this razor is how it feels when you hold it.  It's not too heavy like non-disposable razors are, but it's not too light either.  It is very comfortable to hold because the handle is wide and coated with a soft rubber.  It also has traction dots on the rubber to make it slip-resistant. As for the actual function of the razor, I love it.  The **BIC Comfort 3 Advance Razor **has a head that pivots, so it can move around your knee easily.  If you are a man, this would probably move around your face nicely.  The three blades do a nice job of leaving my skin soft, without being too much.  Four blade razors tend to tear up my legs, but this 3 blade razor is perfect.  I will definitely buy them again.

BIC Rocks!

There are alot of razors on the market. So much competition. What I look for is a razor which I can get several uses out of each razor. Also, one that has a very close shave and is smooth. I have uses many types to include the budget razors, Gillette, to name a few. I remember when I first tried Bic I was pretty hesitant. After a few uses I found that Bic is one of the best razors I have used. Then, I tried this particular item and I was amazed of how close and smooth this item is. I did get several uses out of one which is important to me because of my tight budget and also of how fast my hair grows. Yes, this item I do recommend to anyone. I have very few if not, any nicks and cuts from this item which is also important to me. If you havent already tried this product, please do. I am sure you will be satisfied. This item will be used in my household for years to come and am looking forward to new products from Bic in the near future!

Bic Comfort 3 is the best disposible razor out there

4

The Bic Comfort 3 Advance Razor has to be the best desposible razor out on the market today.  I have very sensitive skin and have to shave every day due to work.   Until I used this product I had to deal with razor burns and bumps daily.   But after finding razor and giving it a try I no longer have to deal with burns and bumps.   The razor glides smoothly and really gives you a nice clean shave.   I love the the blades and my skin is really smooth after a shave.   While the strips on the razer do wear out very quickly, I have always tried not to use a disposible razor only once or twice anyway due to the sensitivity of my skin, so I really don't mind or notice it all that much.   I would recommend the Bic Comfort 3 to anyone that really wants a clean smooth skin but has the problem of having razor bumps and burns from having sensitive skin.   You will not be disappointed in this product if you give it a try.

Bic's Best Razor Yet

4

Razors are a grooming necessity and they vary widely from one brand to another. I am the type who likes to alternate my razors from one brand to the next and I almost always reach for disposable razors rather than buy replacement blade cartridges. One razor I tried recently is a new product made by BIC, the same company that manufactures ink pens and lighters. It's the **BIC Comfort 3 Advance**, a shaving device designed for men. **Razor Commentary:** BIC Comfort 3 Advance offers a pivot head with three blades and two small lubrication strips. These two strips are very narrow and are located side by side just above the blades. They contain Vitamin E and aloe to aid in the moisturizing process and eliminate discomfort. The handle of this razor is curved with a rounded tip and a body that is narrower in the center and slightly wider on the top and bottom. The design features black and blue colors with raised bumps in three distinct areas of the handle to improve gripping. A plastic cover is included that snaps over the blade area to prevent accidental cuts. Judging by the ability to cut hair, this razor seems like a pretty good one. The cutting device offers three blades that measure one and three- eighths inches (34 mm) in width and they get the job done in the most efficient manner possible. Each stroke sends three blades across the surface of your skin, cutting the hair more quickly and with less effort than other disposable razors. I did experience an occasional small cut (usually above my upper lip), but this is common with almost all hand operated razors. The lubrication strips just above the blades offer extra protection by moisturizing the skin before the blades make contact. These strips release aloe and Vitamin E and you can feel them working with each stroke across your face. They leave a trail of moisture on the skin that is slippery to the touch but washes off quickly with water. This is one part of the razor, however, that wears out more quickly than the rest. After about four uses, I could feel a distinct difference in the amount of lubricant that was released from these strips. There was practically nothing left and their enhancement to the shaving experience was minimal. BIC Comfort 3 Advance is just like other disposable razors in at least one regard: It has to be thrown away in about one to two weeks. Based on my experience, this razor is good for about seven to twelve days depending on the density of one's hair and the frequency of shaving. I shave once every day so with this razor, I can expect to get through one full month with about three or four razors. This is a little bit better than other disposable razors and it helps to partially justify the extra cost. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Overall, the BIC Comfort 3 Advance is a very good razor from BIC and it ranks as the best disposable BIC razor I have tried thus far. The price per razor is almost five times greater than BIC's cheapest variety but when it comes to disposable razors, the added cost is worth it. Better grip, efficient cutting, and improved comfort make this one of the better disposable razors on the market.
