I had the tuna sandwich and my sister chose the veggie sandwich. Ordering took a while. We were given our choice of breads (several to chose from), condiments, and I had to chose from among 10 different teas. My sister kept changing her mind. She had eaten there before, and wanted all of her favorites (the entire menu). We did have a wait a while for our sandwiches, but probably no longer than it took to order them. My tuna sandwich tasted like home, meaning that it was not the regular tuna salad from a can that is normally served at other establishments.
The small room is well lit and reminded me of a kindergarten. I later found out that they hold family events, such as Storytime and Face Painting for Children every Friday at 10am and Poetry Night once a month. Displayed on the walls are items by local artists. There are two small tables on the front porch for watching the neighbors walking by.
If I were ever to live in Annapolis again, I would definitely utilized B.B. Bistro as a quiet place to relax and meet friends for lunch. It's nothing fancy, the food was good and it is run by people who care about their community. The only negative I can think of is that if you can't parallel park, you better have good walking shoes, because there's no big parking lot nearby.
