This product is like make up for your legs. It is important to get the right shade and to exfoliate thoroughly before applying. It has the consistency of a lotion mixed with a foundation, it is a little on the thick side. Since this product is almost like a makeup foundation for the legs, it will transfer to clothing, so best used when wearing shorts, bathing suit or skirt. Scent This product does have a strong scent, but not over powering. The scent slowly fades. It does not have a "fake tan" or "self tanner" smell. Absorption This product does absorb and dry, however it does transfer to clothing and will run slightly if the user sweats or gets wet. It is not a product one would use when wearing a bathing suit to the beach or swimming pool, unless there is no intention to go into the water. Effectiveness Besides the fact that this product will transfer to clothing, it definitely serves its purpose. It has great coverage that is build able. It leaves the legs looking flawless and easily washes off.

This isn't my favorite lotion I've used. The lotion has a really funny smell to it. It made me feel like I wasn't clean and needed to take a shower since it smelled so funny. I also felt like the lotion was really hard to apply evenly. I constantly had really funny looking streaks all over my legs no matter how carefully I attempted to apply the lotion. I also ended up with many streaks that were a dark orange in color so it definitely was not a very natural looking color on me. Finally, I also was not sure that i noticed any sign of minimizing hair on the legs. I did not feel like I needed to shave any less than I was before because I was using this lotion. Hair still stood out just as much as it did before so I really noticed no difference at all with that. That was one of the main reasons I was interested in trying the lotion so I was disappointed that I didn't notice any difference with it.

I have been searching for a self tanner for a long time and have failed to find the right one.  Self tanners usually leave you with a orange tint or streaks.  I have been using Avon's Skin So Soft Satin Glow for about two weeks now and am absolutely thrilled with the results.  This product is a lotion that gradually gives you a natural looking tan within 4 days.  Just apply it like your regular lotion once a day and it leaves your skin radiant... not to mention it firms your skin as well.  I'm happy that I no longer have to go to a tanning bed!  I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a nice natural looking tan.
