Avon Skin So Soft Fusions (Soft & Sensual) Dual Softening Body Moisturizer —

I have been a fan of Avon since I was a kid when I passed out brochures for an elderly neighbor.  She used to reward me with Avon products for kids.  (I wonder what ever happened to her).

Anyway, I remain very loyal to Avon.  They have many wonderful products.  I tried being an Avon Rep a few years ago but it didn't work out for me because I bought just as much as I sold!!  Not good!!

I recently tried their new SKIN SO SOFT Fusions Soft & Sensual Dual Softening Body Moisturizer.  It glided on very nicely.  I love the scent (Soft & Sensual line).  It seemed to be a great product...... until about a half our later when I was sitting at the kitchen table playing boggle with family and I had my legs under the table resting on the chair across from me.  I felt something weird on my legs.  I brushed them off with my hand and I felt crumbs all over my legs.  I accused one of the kids of brushing off dinner crumbs onto the chair.  Seriously.  It just didn't make sense.  The crumbs were literally all over my legs (the only place that I put the lotion).

I put on the lotion again one morning, after my shower, before we were off and running errands for the day.  I sat in the passenger seat of my car and tucked my legs under me, to the side.  (I like to get comfy).  I notice crumbs AGAIN!!  That's when I realized that I accused the kids of something they didn't do (at least that time).  I grabbed some napkins and rubbed and rubbed this stuff off of my legs.  I have NEVER had a lotion turn to crumbs on my body - EVER.

SKIN SO SOFT Fusions Soft & Sensual Dual Softening Body Moisturizer  is a nice thick, but not too thick, lotion that really does smell nice.  But this lotion got just down right nasty on me after a short period.

I gave the tube back to my Avon Rep (my co-worker) and told her to please try and tell me if it does that to her.  I have yet to remember to ask her if she did.

SKIN SO SOFT Fusions Soft & Sensual Dual Softening Body Moisturizer  is a super rich combination of formulas that are supposed to moisturize skin on the surface and from within but it just does not do this on my skin. (last time I checked, I was not an alien).

Did that to me too. It was really gross. Smell is fantastic, but I stopped using it because of the peeling.

Wow, thank you for doing that. I'll call them within a few days. I really do love Avon and have since I was a kid. I recently switched from ordering online to buying from a co-worker. She's new and if she doesn't work out, I'll order through your Avon site!

Sounds like an allergic reaction to an ingredient in the lotion. Unfortunately it does happen from time to time with some products. I contacted Avon's Customer Service line "1-800-445-2866" to report the issue you are having with the product. None of my customers have had an issue with the product. I was advised by the customer service representative to have you contact them at the number listed above and reference item # 066-639. They have documented the issue with quality control. Avon is really big on customer satisfaction and all products have 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. For the record, that number can be called by anyone to find out information on any Avon products, including ingredients, product testing and information on products no longer in the catalog. This would help you to avoid ingredients that you may have an allergic reaction to in the future. I hope that information is helpful and that you resolve the issue you are having with the product.

I used to love to get the free samples of Avon makeups too! Too bad this one didn't work out. Finding just the right lotions is harder than finding the right color lipstick!

Wow, isn't that awful? Lotions are not supposed to do that. Yuck!

I used a lotion on my back that did that (I think it was .mark). I never did know if it was supposed to do that or not but I never tried it again.
