Avon Skin So Soft Creamy Body Souffle Review

I found this creamy body souffle on the Avon website.  It caught my attention because it was on sale for some ridiculous price.  I now know why.  

I was not aware of what the Soft & Sensual scent smelled like and the website really didn't elaborate.  I have tried the original Skin So Soft products and loved the scent so I really didn't think that this scent would be too much different.  I was wrong.  The flowery rose scent is extremely overwhelming.  So much so that I can't bear to wear it.  I have allergies to some floral scents but can wear some if they are light enough.  This one is so strong that I don't even think a person who doesn't have allergies could stand it.  Remember, this is a body souffle which means it is meant to be used all over.  In my opinion, it is absolutely too overwhelming of a scent to be applied all over.  I used some on my hands and it took me several cleansers to remove the scent completely. 

The product itself, minus the scent, is actually pretty good.  It is lightweight, quickly absorbed and moisturizes well.  I can't completely say this body souffle is a flop because it does do what it claims to do.  I just wish it would do it without all the scent. 

I wouldn't recommend this particular product to anyone who may be sensitive to floral scents but if you enjoy a very heavy smelling moisturizer, this one is for you.  I am going to be fair and give this product a 3 star rating.
