Good insect repellent and also makes your skin soft at the same time! I love it and it also has a moisturizing effect that helps the repellent not dry out my skin form repeated use. It's a bit pricy but it does work and you really don't need a lot! Effectiveness Very effective for using it in a wooded area where I live, as we have many mosquitoes here and also ticks. It only takes a few minutes to spray it on and it starts to work right away.It works well for the duration described on the bottle and you don't need to make many applications all day long, but you night want to re apply if you do go swimming. Ease of Application Comes in a easy to spray bottle and it comes out as a mist. You can pump it as hard or as soft as you need to for the amount you need. You can also pump a tiny bit on your hand and wipe it on your face but do not get it in your eyes or your mouth as it can cause problems. Scent The scent is pleasant and doesn't attract other insects along with those you are trying to repel. It doesn't make you smell like a can of insect repellent from 20 feet away!

I really like this and have been using for quite some time. Here in Fl we have a lot of mosquito's and no-see-um's sand flies midges and this stuff works better than most of the commercial anti bug products. The one thing I really like about this is it's deet free which makes me feel better. I don't think sprays with a lot of deet are good for you even though they are effective at keeping bugs away. Effectiveness It is very effective for most of the flying bugs here in Fl. Depending on the heat and humidity, you need to re-apply it every four or five hours instead of the 8 hours it says. It's not 100% effective but it is as effective as most of the heavy deet sprays and cremes without the horrible smell. Ease of Application It's very easy to apply. Just spray onto your skin. legs, arms, ankles and anywhere you have exposed skin. Scent This product is unscented. It doesn't bother me at all like some of the others with cloves and other strong smells to keep the bugs away.

Living less than one hundred feet from the wetlands, every summer I end up with hundreds of mosquito bites throughout the summer months, literally HUNDREDS. I absolutely hate it. So, in a desperate attempt to put the mosquitos at bay, I have tried almost every product and remedy that I have come across. I have used the candles, with the mosquito repellent machine, with bug spray and I always end up with at least a couple of bug bites in the course of thirty or so minutes. So, past my boiling point one day, I decided to purchase this product from my Grandmother who sells Avon. After trying it I can say this, it keeps mosquitos away better than any other product alone that I have tried. Couple that with the fact that it has built in SPF and it's golden. Granted, I still get bit by a mosquito here and there, but it's not every single time I go outside. My only complaint is that it can feel a little greasy but I'll take that over mosquito bites any day!

While visiting my husband's family in their bug-infested backyard, I asked my sister in-law if she had any insect repellent because I am allergic to mosquitos. She handed me **Avon SKIN SO SOFT Bug Guard Plus Expedition SPF 30 Pump Spray** and said that it works really well. Well, after that night, I'm a believer! Effectiveness There were all sorts of bugs flying around me so I applied this product liberally. I have to admit, I'm not a big believer in bug sprays, but this product changed my mind. We were in her backyard for hours and I didn't get one bug bite! I used this at night, but I love knowing that it has SPF 30 in it for daytime use. Ease of Application This product comes in a pump spray, so it's very easy to apply. I felt like the pump dispersed the perfect amount of spray each time I pressed it. Scent I actually LOVE the way this product smells. I know that sounds weird because this is a *bug spray*, but if they sold a body lotion with this scent, I might buy it, it's that good! It's smells fresh, clean and just wonderful - not at all what you would imagine a bug spray to smell like.
