When wearing a lipstick I prefer brands that don't leave that tell tale lipstick mark on my drinking glasses or coffee cups. Many of the lipsticks I have used don't have long lasting power, so the Avon Perfect Wear Extralasting Lipstick was very appealing to me. I've worn Avon Perfect Wear lipsticks for years. First, this lipstick comes in a slender tube that fits nicely in my purse and I love the angled tip. Avon claims it lasts up to 8 hours and that it is transfer resistant. I don't take that to mean that this lipstick won't transfer at all, but that it will do so less than ordinary lipstick. Sometimes I like a glossy finish and sometimes more of a matte finish, and this one is more matte, with a satin look. Although the lipstick doesn't fade, I couldn't use it because it made my lips incredibly dry, and I already have a problem with dry and chapped lips. I had high hopes for this product but I just can't wear it. If you are looking for a long wearing lipstick and you DON'T have a problem with already dry lips, I would highly recommend this lipstick. I can drink my coffee without getting lipstick on the mug. In that sense it is wonderful, but I simply found it too drying for my needs.

Nice lipstick if you are looking for a lasting color--it is not a lip stain-but rather a dry feeling lipstick.  It doesn't have that slick,moist feeling like other lipsticks or glosses.  It feels rather dry on the lips so it doesn't transfer to your coffee cup or glass, etc.  Colors are very true--unlike some lipsticks where the color goes on much lighter than the tube shade.  Avon--the staple we always have used at some point in our lives!

I was not pleased with this product. It may last awhile longer on your lips than most lipsticks but it was not comfortable to wear at all as it felt so dry on my lips. It did not have that nice moist like feel that I enjoy with wearing a lipstick. I would rather reapply my lipstick and get the comfort level than have a lipstick that is made to stay on but feel miserable while wearing it. I like many Avon products but this one did not make the grade with me and I would not recommend it to others. They have many other nice lipsticks that do the job with wearing well. This was too dry and thick feeling and very uncomfortable to wear. The color was there and it would stay but not enjoyable wearing it. It is a very affordable price and goes on sale rather frequently but again for the money spent if it is not comfortable, I would rather spend my money on a lipstick that is a pleasure to wear and feel moist and nice on your lips.

I have not been a fan of Avon Perfect Wear Extralasting lipstick as when I would apply it to my lips I found that it left a heavy feeling and dry. I enjoy moisturizing feel to my lipstick. That is very important to me. I enjoy some of Avon's other lipsticks but this one I only bought once and will not buy again. I want to feel comfortable with my lipstick. It may have lasted awhile, but not feeling comfortable and moist is more important than the lasting of the lipstick. The ones I like, I just reapply through the day when I need a little more moisture. But this lipstick was not moist. I also like a lipstick with a shine and gloss and again this was dry and tight. I would not recommend this lipstick. I have sold Avon for over 15 years now, and I love their guarantee, and they are always improving their products. They are a company that you can trust. And if you are not happy with a product there is never a problem with returning it.
