Avon Naturals Shower Gel —

When it comes to bath and body products I find myself totally unable to disicpline myself when it comes to nice smelling shower gels. This was the case with Avon Naturals Shower Gel: Gardenia. I used to be a Jungle Gardenia fan, and yes, I'd dating myself but that stuff was amazing. To make a long story short, I wanted to re-live those glorious days. However, I didn't find this scent to be that great.

Avon Natuals Shower Gel

Avon Natuals Shower Gel comes in lots of different scents. There are many that are appealing in floral, herbal, citrus, etc. I've tried several scents in the past and have been pleased with the performance. The gardenia was a bit disapointing to me and didn't have a very authentic gardenia scent in my opinion. It was too sweet.

Avon Natuals Shower Gel come in a 5 fl. oz. plastic bottle with a curved handle that is great for hanging the bottle on any rack or rail in your shower. This is a nice feature and really comes in handy! The bottle has a flip top cap which makes dispensing the gel easy and possible with only one hand.

Other scents available are: Peach, cucumber, vanilla and other combinations of florals and herbals.

Performance

I don't have any faults to note on this shower gel. It cleanses well, it does a moderate job of hydrating skin and smells ok. It doesn't have a true gardenia scent but not anything repulsive either. It lathers well and gets the job done.

My ViewPoint

Avon Natuals Shower Gel retails for $5.49 a tube. I find this expensive for such a small size bottle. Avon does put this on special often and for $1.99-2.99, it makes a nice buy. Another thing tha annoys me is that Avon is always dropping scents and adding new ones. Just as you find a new favorite, they take it away. I'm going to say this is an average shower gel, nothing spectacular and rate with 3 VP's.

I have this but I didn't buy it, it was a prize my mom gave out at my sister's baby shower. Not too bad, but does sound expensive now that I know the price. She bought them in bulk so got a little discount.
