I was quite disappointed with this product (as well as the shampoo as another reviewer experienced). My hair is very dry. I am African American and my hair is natural (no chemicals used on my hair). I thought I would give this a try to see if it could moisturize my hair. It was a no go. First, the shampoo was very drying to my hair. I used this conditioner as directed. I even put on a plastic cap to help the conditioner to absorb into my hair. I rinsed it out and I could feel at that point that my hair was very dry. I also have bad dry scalp and this did not help it at all. My scalp was very flaky. I have never had my hair turn out in such bad shape after washing and conditioning it. My guess is that this conditioner (and the shampoo) is not made for natural African American hair. I am by no means saying that this is a bad conditioner but I just think this is not for my type of hair. Last but not least, I was not too fond of the smell either.

I have super thick hair. I was hoping that as with most Avon products, that an inexpensive product would not equal an inferior product. I was a little disappointed with this conditioner(shampoo also) The shampoo hardly lathers at all, even if I add lots of water, it feels like my hair isn't getting clean. The conditioner is very thin and doesn't condition well at all. Like I said my hair is really really thick, so I need a really thick conditioner in order to handle the dryness of my hair. Unfortunately you can't try before you buy. Luckily Avon's return policy is fantastic, and you can get your money back on whatever product you aren't satisfied with. I am not usually unhappy with anything Avon makes, but this product was far from what I expected. The quality was poor. Although I do agree that the smell is really great. Fresh and tropical, I do enjoy that part. I used it a few times before I gave up, but the scent really was nice.
