Avon Mark - Self Sanctuary Spa Mud Facial Review

You wont find a cheaper way to pamper yourself than this.  Avon has a subdivision called Mark.  Mark is geared more to a younger crowd, but has lots of terrific products for women of all ages.  Mark's Self Sanctuary Spa Mud Facial is one of the greatest facial masks I have ever used.  And the best part of it is, the price is under $ 10.00! 

Mark's purifying mud facial comes in a dark sea-foam colored tube.  There is an entire line of the Self Sanctuary Spa products, and they all come packaged in the same color.  The mud itself smells almost like peppermint, and when you apply it to your face, it actually feels cold.  Although you don't keep it in the refrigerator, it is cool to the touch!  How do they do that? 

To apply, just gently massage into your skin.  The mud glides across your face and feels heavenly as you rub it in.  If you want it to foam, just apply more water.  However, I have never done that because I like for it to harden before I rinse it off.  Now, the directions say that once you apply the mask, to just rinse it off.  But I love the way it feels, so I leave it on my face.  (If you've ever been to an actual spa for a mud facial, that is what they do)  I leave it on until it begins to dry.  Then, I wash it off with warm water and a washcloth. 

The purifying mud facial contains natural clay, smoothing red algae and a sea botanical that purifies and conditions your pores and skin.  And once you rinse the mud off your face, and it is completely removed, your face feels ALIVE!  Your skin feels fresher and lighter, as if it really has removed toxins from your face.  It feels amazing.

The bad news is that the last time I purchased my Mark mud facial, I was told that it was being discontinued!  It seems that always happens to me once I find a product that I really like.  So, if you're interesting in trying it out for yourself, you'd better hurry.  And if all else fails, and you can't get it from your representative, you can always check ebay.  Ebay is a great resource when you're searching for discontinued items.
