Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing and Repair Body Lotion is a great family lotion to have at home. It comes in a large presentation with a big quantity so it lasts a long time. The pump is very practical and gives you a good amount for each pump. The lotion is creamy and soft and absorbs quickly. It leaves your skin soft and smooth, and does not leave a greasy film. It is great for normal or dry skin and does not cause irritation. If you have very dry skin, or it is the winter months, you may want a more hydrating lotion or cream. However, this does the job for the rest of the year and the hydration lasts for a couple of hours at least. The scent is pretty soft and neutral so won't clash or mix with other creams or perfumes you use that have different aromas. Scent Scent is rather neutral and soft and non-remarkable. Absorption Absorbs rapidly and leaves skin hydrated and conditioned.

An average moisturizing lotion

My skin gets very dry and sometimes is sensitive especially on my arms. My friend gave me this lotion as a gift for my birthday because she works for Avon, and it seemed like a regular lotion to me. I applied this lotion right after I got out of the shower. It moisturized well and it made my skin look less dry. It had a thick texture to it and it went on my skin smoothly. It was lightweight wasn't heavy and it didn't give me that greasy feel. It seemed to heal and relieve my dry spots. It didn't really have a scent I feel like it just smelled like an avergae lotion. It improved my skin texture in just a couple of uses, my skin looked a lot healthier and seemed radiant. I would use this lotion again if I had the time to order from the Avon catalog. This lotion isn't my favorite, but it did nourish my body really well. I would recommend this to anybody with dry or sensitive skin its great for any skin type.

I received a bottle of Avon moisture therapy intensive healing and repair body lotion for Christmas from my mother because she knows I struggle a lot especially during the winter months with severe dry skin and psoriasis. I was hoping this lotion would help relieve some of that dryness! I applied this on my hands, my elbows and my knees which is my driest patches of skin! It went on smoothly and absorbed well. It felt a little bit sticky and didn't soak all the way into my skin but I mainly use this as a nighttime lotion so a little stickiness or oiliness doesn't bother me. The scent was pleasant and very subtle, it smelled like a light Creme. This lotion didn't moisturize my skin for a long period of time and it didn't help my hands retain much moisture. Overall, I thought that Avon moisture therapy intensive healing and repair body lotion was alright. It moisturized my skin but I think it needs some improvement because I have tried more effective lotions.

Absorbs quickly to help relieve dry skin.

This lotion does a great job at helping my dry skin, which pretty much stays dry in the winter. It absorbs nicely, so it does a great job at moisturizing skin. It also has a light scent to it, not overly powerful. Scent The scent is very light, and not overpowering. It does smell nice, but there's not that much of a smell to it. It would probably be great for sensitive skin for this reason. Absorption It easily absorbs into your skin. It is a light lotion, and a little thin. Even tho it's thin, it's still great at moisturizing. Effectiveness It's great for dry skin. I always have dry skin in winter, as I work outdoors, and this lotion has really been great for my skin. I think one of the main reasons for this is that it is really absorbent, which can help with moisturizing skin. I think if a lotion doesn't absorb well, how can it put moisture into your skin. I have at least half a dozen different kinds of lotions, and this is one of my favorites.

Good moisturizer for normal skin - not so great for very dry ski

I was slightly disappointed with this lotion. I do not feel that the moisture level is intense as it claims. Other member's of my family liked this lotion more than I did. I was not as impressed with this lotion. I did not feel this lotion worked best for dry skin as it claims. I found that if you have normal skin (as in not dry and not oily) Avon's Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing and Repair body lotion works very well. I think it would also work very well for those with sensitive skin. It is touted as intensive healing and body repair. I have dry skin and I did not feel this was the right lotion for me. The lotion felt great while I was applying it to my skin, was not greasy and absorbed fast but did not really relieve dry skin for me. After this lotion dried, my skin went back to feeling dry, I did not see any real results while using this product. Other members of my family really liked it bu they have normal skin, not dry skin like me. I found that other products worked better for me. Other products made by Avon also worked better for me to relieve dry skin. I had high hopes for this lotion and it did not deliver as I thought it would. The scent of this lotion was just okay in my book. Light but not memorable. I would not recommend it based on the scent. Other lotions smell better. Scent the scent of this lotion was just okay in my book. Light but not memorable. I would not recommend it based on the scent. Other lotions smell better. Absorption this product absorbed very fast and was not too heavy or greasy. It actually feels very light on the skin. Effectiveness this did not work to relieve my dry skin. I think it would work best on sensitive or normal skin in need of some moisture. I do not feel that the moisture level is intense as it claims.

A Good product for the price

Avon's Moisture Therapy is a very good product that does help dry skin. It isn't overly heavy or greasy and you don't get over powered by fragrance. It works very well as a daily moisturizer and even works with people who have sensitive skin. It is a bit thicker than some other moisturizers but you don't feel like you are loading your skin with lard. It seems to last for a decent amount of time, but does need reapplication on a daily basis to keep your skin moisturized. My husband use to use it exclusively as a facial cream but because it is more difficult to get, you have to order it through an Avon representative or online, getting it became a hassle. For the price, it is a very good product but because you always have to add shipping to the price that makes it more expensive. If you don't mind paying the shipping or waiting a week to get the cream it is well worth the money.

Don't know about this one.

I don't know....it feels a little "cakey" if you will. It seems really thick and nasty. Makes me feel sweaty and hot, that's not really what I look for in a lotion. After years of neglecting my skin, I thought this would be a decent remedy but it really wasn't all that great. Takes ages to dry and smells funky. It is moisturizing though.

Avon Moisture Therapy Body Repair lotion

Very good moisturizer with a light pleasant scent. Good for everyday use but especially good for problem dry areas such as hands, feet, elbows and knees but can be used all over the body. Great for dry scaly and sun damaged skin as well. Scent I really the scent. it smells like a light aloe scent which is almost undetectable but you can smell it. It certainly isn't perfume smelling which is a huge turn off for me. Absorption It absorbs reasonably well but not as fast as some of the lighter moisturizers. This is a thicker creme which takes a little longer to soak in. Since it is more of a healing type moisturizer, it needs to be rubbed in quite well for it to be absorbed more quickly. Effectiveness I think it works very well. i have issues with very dry and and feet, elbows and knees. The skin tends to dry and crack and when I put this on, it helps so much. I put it on my feet at night with socks and it makes a huge amount of difference in just a week or so.

Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing & Repair Body lotion was given to me as a gift several months ago. At first, I was skeptical because I'm kinda picky about my lotion. But after trying this one out for a week or so, I like it! It keeps my hands moisturized and prevents them from cracking and splitting in the dry winter air. The scent is nice and not overwhelming. The lotion absorbs fairly quickly and easily. I don't know how much this lotion costs, but I suspect it is a little on the higher end since it is Avon. One downside is the difficulty in buying it. It seems that you have to know someone in order to order it from the company or order it on their website. If you run out, you're going to be out for a few days til your order arrives. Not very convenient in my opinion. Scent It doesn't have a very strong scent. Absorption It absorbs fairly quickly although I usually rub it in and then rub my hands on my jeans one time to unslick them. ;) Effectiveness My hands feel so much better after I use this lotion. It works well in keeping hands hydrated.

Don't use this lotion if you handle a lot paperwork or labels.

I grew up with Avon products in my household. My mother would buy this lotion all of the time. I wouldn't say that this product is the best lotion out there. It is good when you have nothing else in the house and your hands are dry. However, it seemed to leave my hands sort of sticky. I hadn't used this lotion for years since I lived with my mother and then I received some as a Christmas. One dry winter day as I was writing a paper for college, my hands became very dry. I decided to use the lotion. I applied it and began to type again.Later, I printed out my paper. The ink was dry when I picked up the papers and the lotion (which should have sunk in by that time) smudged the ink. It also took the paint off of a pencil and transferred it on to my fingers. It moisturized my hands decently, but it didn't feel like it sank in very deeply. I had to apply more soon. It isn't very long lasting. It seemed a bit too greasy. Doesn't smell good either.
