Avon Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips Review Summary

Our reviewers either love or hate Avon Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips. These strips peel off the sheet and are applied to the nails in a stretchy strip that looks like you just polished your nails with traditional nail polish. Those who like Avon Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips find that, after they get the hang of using them, the strips look great and last for a long time on the nails with no mess. Those who don't like Avon Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips find it frustrating trying to apply these thin strips to their nails and wrinkles and tearing are an issue. This is one product that you'll have to try to make a decision about. Luckily, Avon has a great returns policy! Check out all of our Avon product reviews!

Before using, besure to learn more on how to use this product through an Avon Representative.  Truth be told...I sell Avon and it took me at least one set to get the process down.  It's not something that any regular "Joe" has had time to learn.  Its brand new to the market and so I'm not surprised...

The concept of this sounds good.  Nail polish that is all ready to go, just needs applying.  No waiting around for it to dry.  BUT, it's not really that easy to use.  The pre-polished tabs fold under and get stuck to each other.  I wasted several of them just trying to apply them to my nails. ...

I was a bit skeptical about stick on nail polish and my skepticism only proved me right in this situation. Sure it's easy to put on, after you have done it at least once before, and yes it does last a long time, heck it's even a pain to wipe off (due to the glue that makes it stick) but it's not something I'm ever going to buy again.

Some of my nails are a bit wider than the strips had to offer, even though they offer several sizes. The color selection is fair. The price...well...if you can get them on sale it's about what you should expect them to be at normally, otherwise it's a bit spendy for...

When I was in high school I used to paint my nails every day, at night after doing my homework. I would paint to match my outfits and makeup, and only when really pressed would I wear the same color scheme two days in a row.

I have no problem painting my nails, I can paint my nails and put on pantyhose with wet nails. However, with a puppy it is a little hard to ignore his needs to let my nails dry. When I saw these (on sale) I thought perfect, just what I needed.

As a veteran nail painter I have used Lee press on nails once or twice, and they always fit my nails perfectly. That lead me to believe...

Avon junkie, do my own manicures, unlucky with nail polishes

This product has been a God-send for me. I hate waiting for polish to dry so the strips were the answer. I LOVE the pedicure ones. They are so wasy and last a long time. I also think the French Manicure strips are wonderful. I can apply these in the car on the way to anywhere without having to worry about any messes! One tip I do have-if your nail is wider than the strip, I use a piece of another strip as a sort of "patch" to cover the small strip along the side of my nail that is still exposed. I works very well and you can't tell the difference. I say when these go on sale, stock up and if you... read full review »

When I first bought this item I was a little skeptical, because I didn't believe that it would give the "painted" on look.. boy was I wrong....

I really like it.. it is VERY easy to apply and it does look like it was freshly painted on. I think that is a great tool to use on the go or if you do not have the time to wait for your average nail polish to dry.

I only wish that it was not so expensive. You are lucky to get it when it's on sale.

I was disappointed with this product. It cost way more then a bottle of nail polish. My nails are to wide for the strips and that was a let down. I suggest to anyone thinking about buying this product go buy a bottle of nail polish that dries in 60 seconds, It is easier and faster. I will not waste my money again. Trial and error is my way of life. They should take into consideration that not all women have long slender hands and nails.

I bought this thinking what a wonderful idea. What a waste of money! To hard to get on right and the instructions really were not worth the paper it was written on. I think it needs to come with a video so a person can see how the heck they work.

For evey woman out there, who has little or no time at all to do their own nails, Avons' Instant Manicure Dry Nail Enamel Strips, are the very best thing to come your way!!!

I work in a professional atmosphere. I like to use neutral color tones when it comes to nail color. I simply adore the new French Manicure from Avons' nail strips.

They are easy to apply, no need to stop and wait till your nail polish dries. I kid you not. I place the nail color strips on my nails & also for my pedicure nail color. You can go from 20 minutes it takes me to apply my nail strips to going right into a shower,...

I sell Avon also (19 yrs :)   I spent time getting the hang of applying these.  I sold many of them.  To each of my customers who took the time to follow my directions and the tips I used when practicing, they had a great experience with them.  To the one customer who returned them, she was not interested in having me demonstrate application, not did she want to hear my tips.
I have had many return buyers - a few did not re-purchase only because of the limited line of colors.

I absolutely love this product.  It is the longest-lasting polish I have ever used.  Even the '10-day guarantee' polish...

I was very excited to try this product when it came out, so I ordered a set.  When the product arrived, I was disappointed to see that for the price, I would only be able to get one set of nail polish out of the entire kit, but if if worked, and lasted as long as advertised, I would be okay with that.  I read through the directions thoroughly and tried to apply the product to my fingernails.  I have been giving myself manicures and pedicures for quite some time now, including free handed french tips, and consider myself very good at the process, but I thought this product was extremely hard... read full review »

This is the best product on the market to do your nails. I use the french manicure kind. The first time I used them, it was strange because I thought for sure they would fall off. They didn't and lasted for more than 2 weeks. They do take time to put on, but you don't have to wait for them to dry. I would rather spend an hour putting them on than wait several hours for the liquid kind to totally dry. I bought a manicure kit for about 30 dollars to shape my nails and I just keep buying these from my friend. No one ever believes that I do my nails myself. They always look like I just got them done... read full review »

What a great idea!!! I loved the idea of these! I was super excited about them!

Then I completely botched the application.

Take the advice of some previous reviewers, get a tutorial in these puppies. It's not like anything else you've used, and just like when we were all learning makeup for the first time, it takes some practice. I must admit, I gave up, I've seen some other people who have mastered the art of these things and it's amazing, I just don't have the patience, I tried them on a novelty.

The toe ones are a little creepy, I must say, I just don't see how they could possibly work,...

I think that these nail strips can be very easy to use, and obviously there's not really a way for them to be messy, but i don't think they are worth anything. When  i used them, i did exactly what the instructions said and didn't miss a step, but the end result was horrible. they did not stay on for more Than 5 minutes. I was so disappointed, the around $ 7.00, nail polish that Avon offers takes a little longer to do, but would end up being the better thing if what your looking for is something that will last longer that 5 minutes, and not look like you just put stickers on your nails.
