Avon Hydra Cool Bronzing Stick Review

I ordered the Avon Hydra Cool Bronzing Stick from a co-worker that had just started selling Avon. I had used Avon products before, liked them and thought this product looked interesting. The description in the catalog said it "goes on with a cooling sensation" and it was only $4.99 so I was all for trying it out.

When it arrived I was surprised to see that it was super small. I guess I should have paid attention to the .14 net weight listed in the description. I was a little bummed because of the size. I thought I would use it in a matter of a few weeks since I wear makeup every day to work.

The next morning I went to use it on my cheeks and, since it is in stick form, just swipped on a small streak across each check. I quickly found out why it is in such a small container. A little, tiny bit goes a long way. The two small streaks ended up being enough to cover my whole face. I was disappointed to find no cooling effect though. Either my cheeks are numb to feeling (I doubt this) or the cooling effect just doesn't work on every one.

The next morning I once again decided to try the bronzing stick and used very, very little this time. I didn't even have to let the whole stick touch my cheek. This stuff is very dense so I wet my cosmetic sponge and used that to glide and spread the color over both checks. In the end I had a nice sun kissed look and it lasted a lot longer then if I had used regular powdered blush on my cheek. I could still see it after I had worked a full 10 hours.

Even with the small size and no cooling effect I have found that I really like the Avon Hydra Cool Bronzing Stick and will continue to purchase it when this one is running low.
