After years of using Avon, I'm a big fan of their products.  They can be a bit hit or miss for me, but after years of trial and error, I've found the products that work well for me and I buy them often. I love Avon's Glimmersticks for several reasons.  — I'm starting to notice wrinkles, and have also noticed that a lot of the eyeliners out there tug on the outer corners of your eyes when you're applying them.  Not Glimmersticks!  They glide right on with ease.  — I also love the fact that they don't require sharpening.  I can't tell you how many eyeliners I've ended up throwing away because they would break after I had them sharpened the way I wanted.  If you're worried these might cost more, think about what you're throwing away first. … read full review »

I have been usuing the Glimmersticks for years and love the fact that it is so smooth and glides right on. no tugging of the skin which I usually have an issue with pencil liners. I think when they are not on sale they are $6 and usually see them for half off which I stock up at that time. There are some great colors too...usually I stick to black, but really like the purple and green at times. once in a while they through in some new ones like pink and white. I've used Avon since I was a teenage and I still love their products!  I recently discovered (yesterday) that if you "touch" the tip of the eyeliner pencil to a damp wash cloth, it glides on better and darker.  This makes it show up better when applied over your eyeshadow.  I still haven't mastered the sharpening of the Glimmerstick… read full review »

I have five daughters, of which four have a tendency to take items out of my makeup case. Hence, I tend to use expensive skin care and less expensive cosmetics.  I prefer the natural look (less makeup is more).  I LOVE the AVON Glimmersticks eyeliner and when the go on sale I buy them in bulk. My mother began buying me glimmersticks as a teen, now I am 33 and this is the ONLY eyeliner I can wear without my eyes burning. I switch between grey and brown depending on my mood. The only issue I have is keeping it in place. I work full time and it seems everytime I go to the restroom I have to fix my eyeliner. Sometimes it tends to clump a little on my lower lashes, but not normally a big deal. I am not that skilled and have never been able to achieve the smoky look, instead I achieve that out all night smudge. Who doesn't love Glimmersticks? What is there not to love? It's easy, no mess, self sharpening, portable, just everything you could want in an eye liner. I live somewhere that it gets very hot, and haven't experienced melting problems, but I also make sure to moistuize my eyes and use a base. Don't you just hate it when you buy an eyeliner and it doesn't even work when you put it on?!?!  I know I do, I have tried countless brands, so I don't have to spend $20 a pop for the Clinique quickliner.  This is the best thing I have found.  The glimmersticks glide on smoothly, no pulling, no missed spots.  It stays on just as well as the quickliner. I have glimmersticks in black and green.  I have been trying lots of different eyeliners over the years because I can't seem to find one that doesn't eventually pool in the corners of my eyes or end up in the little lines beneath my eyes.  I haven't found one yet.  These glimmersticks work for me like any other brand that I've tried...so I buy them because they are cheaper that ones that you would get at the store or makeup counter.  I think I paid 2.99 for mine on sale.  I would not buy them if they were not on sale.  I also buy mine online...so I consider the… read full review »

I normally do not ware a lot of makeups everyday. But, two things that I will definitely use are eyeliner and mascara. They can change your face dramatically. — This is the best eyeliner I've ever used - smooth, creamy and long lasting on my oily lids (it might get smudged after really long time wearing)! I used a Dior eyeliner before this and it used to tug on my lids during application ALL the time. The Avon glimmersticks glide on easy and come in a variety of colors.  they last all day with no reapplication.  I typically line my eyes after applying Avon foundation and poweder.  After I line, I reapply a fine layer of powder to keep it from smuding or wearing off.  I never have to reapply!  This product goes on sale frequently so stock up then.  The brow liners also come in a lot of color to match any hair color.  The lip liners are also fantastic and can be mixed and matched easily with the array of Avon lip colors available.  Great product, value… read full review »
