Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner Review

I have five daughters, of which four have a tendency to take items out of my makeup case. Hence, I tend to use expensive skin care and less expensive cosmetics.  I prefer the natural look (less makeup is more).  I LOVE the AVON Glimmersticks eyeliner and when the go on sale I buy them in bulk. Usually 10 at a time. 

 Basic black is the best, except for the fact that by the end of the day it can make you look like a racoon unless you set it properly with powder. 

 I only wish that it came in more colors. Avon has six basic colors that the Glimmersticks come in.  Blackest black, cosmic brown, emerald, majestic plum, saturn gray, starry night blue, and majestic plum.  I buy and use all of them.

They are smooth and easy to apply and they are perfect for someone just learning to apply eyeliner (such as a 14 or 15 year old). 

The price is right, the quality is fair, and they are comparable to anything else on the market. The downside is that the creamy texture makes them very soft and they can break easily.  They can go on with a thicker line than perhaps intended and the color selection is limited.

 Overall a good value for the money. Approx. $6.00 each, $2.00 when on sale.
