Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner — 

I've used Avon since I was a teenage and I still love their products!  I recently discovered (yesterday) that if you "touch" the tip of the eyeliner pencil to a damp wash cloth, it glides on better and darker.  This makes it show up better when applied over your eyeshadow.  I still haven't mastered the sharpening of the Glimmerstick though...

That sounds like the Ultra Luxury pencils. They do need a sharpener.

Glimmersticks have a built-in sharpener.
