Glimmersticks from Avon has been a favorite eyeliner of mine for years.  I love this product because it is the perfect shade of grey to highlight my grey eyes, it's easy to use and it is affordable!  What more could you ask for?

All About Glimmersticks

This eyeliner comes in a dark colored thin and skinny tube.  At one time the tubes were the actual color of the shade of eyeliner but Avon changed the packaging as they seem to do every so often and now all tubes are black.  The amazing thing about Glimmersticks is the built in self sharpener.  With just a tiny twist of the tube, you can have a perfectly sharpened tip that is ready for you to use and apply eyeliner.  This is a time saver when you are running late and need to apply makeup.  The cap is easily removed and goes back on to protect the tip of the eyeliner.  You will also notice that the eyeliner is retractable.  This is a good way to make sure the point doesn't get broken off. 

Shades

Glimmersticks come in the following shades:  Blackest Black, Cosmic Brown, Magestic Plum, Rich Green, Saturn Grey, Emerald, Starry Night Blue and Stone. 

Each one costs $6.00 retail.  However, Avon is always having specials and you can pick this one up at Buy 1, Get 1 Free or for $3.99 often.

My ViewPoint

Not only do I adore the easy application of this eyeliner and the built in sharpener, but the shade Saturn Grey is the perfect shade to match my grey eyes.  It gives a smokey effect to my eyes when used along with black mascara.  I don't always wear eyeliner (especially in summer when it is so hot), but when I do, Glimmersticks is my product of choice.  I can easily apply this eyeliner and make few mistakes.  It glides along your lids and makes a perfect line.  Not so with other brands or liquid eyeliner. 

My one complaint is that this eyleiner does not hold up well in hot and humid weather.  We have high temperatures in the summer and this eyeliner will go into the melting mode.  With that said, I give Glimmersticks 4 VP's.

I use this too. I like how it looks and it is less stark than black.

I do love these too, I used to play around with different shades but now I'm always on the go so I'm gonna stick with my Saturn Grey :) Fun to create different looks though!
