Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss —

Quick View: Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss is a medium consistency gloss that comes in a number of shades and in different formulas such as Shine, Sparkle, Intense, and Clear. I buy this gloss often because it's so affordable. It isn't the best gloss I own but it's fine for a simple shine and tint.

My Take on Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

This gloss comes sealed on black plastic. The tube is clear so you can see the shade and the applicator is sponge tipped. There are a total of 15 shades plus clear. Of those shades, five are in the Shine category, five in the Sparkle, and five in the Intense. I go for the intense usually because it really isn't intense but gives my lips more pigment than the other formulas.

This gloss isn't too sticky and is very shiny, no matter which formula you buy. The shades range from nude and very light to deep shades but none are VERY deep on the lips. I just bought Intense Plum and it's a medium plum color on my lips. It looks good and lasts for the average amount of time for a typical gloss - about an hour.

This gloss makes no claims about plumping and it doesn't plump. It adds some color and shine and, if you want, sparkle as well. The shades are all fairly muted but still flattering and there is no sticky feeling on the lips. The gloss isn't heavy either.

For me, this is an everyday gloss. It isn't heavy and it adds just enough of a tint to give my lips some color without looking too dressed up. It can be applied over lipstick as well to intensify and shine the lips. While Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss is by no means my favorite gloss, when it's on sale for $2.99 a tube, I stock up. I spend $18.00 - $20.00 at times on lip gloss so, for under $3.00 for a daily gloss, I can't go wrong with Glazewear.

My Viewpoint

Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss isn't sticky or heavy on my lips. The intense shades give me enough color to actually feel as though I have a light lipstick on. The other formulas have more shine and sparkle and are good for over matte lipsticks. The clear is a good lip shine and good for over other lip colors. This is a versatile, inexpensive gloss that doesn't do amazing things but works for me when I just want some color and shine. I give it 4 stars. I think the actual gloss is a 3 star gloss but the low price makes it a good value so I added a star.

yes, me too. A few more in the peachy / coral shades would round out the list. I'm contemplating heading to group therapy for the cosmetic junkie, lol hi my name is April...and I'm a makeupaholic. Hmm this could work. NAAAA who am I kidding, how can we pass up that beautiful new blush or shadow when we don't "really" have that color.....yet. ;)

They're cheap and pretty good. I wish they had more color to them but I still like them.

I have almost every color of the Glazewear too. I can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet !

Great review Patty! Overall, Avon doesn't have all of my favorite beauty products but there are some things I do like from Avon that I too stock up on when there's a major sale. I just got a new lip gloss from MK that I am sure I'll review after I've spent some time with it. Keep the great reviews coming!

It doesn't last at all. Most glosses don't last long but this one fades super fast. I do find myself reapplying a lot and it's not my favorite but it's cheap and pretty. I don't wear it when I am going somewhere "important" but I rarely go anywhere important. lol.

I have tried this and like the way it goes on. I like the look of it and LOVE the colors I have but I don't think it lasts very long. I feel like I have to keep reapplying it.
