Avon Foot Works Watermelon Foot Spray Gel —

Quick View: I recently bought a bundle of Avon Foot Works Watermelon products and one item was Avon Foot Works Watermelon Foot Spray Gel. I rarely use foot sprays but since I had it, I decided to try it. It's VERY sweet smelling, like candied watermelon, and feels cool on my feet but aside from that I have no idea what this stuff does,

My Take on Avon Foot Works Watermelon Foot Spray Gel

This spray comes in a 3.4 ounce spray bottle. It is clear and smells very strongly watermelon but more like candy watermelon than true, fresh watermelon. It has the consistency of water. I see nothing at all that is a gel or seems like a gel in any way.

I scrubbed my feet and used the watermelon lotion then sprayed my feet with this product. It felt refreshing and it sure had a strong fragrance but that was it. After it dried, my feet didn't feel any different and weren't deodorized per se. Usually foot sprays kill bacteria and deodorize feet. While the strong scent does linger for a while, it fades away and then it's gone.

I can't figure out exactly what Avon Foot Works Watermelon Foot Spray Gel really does except for refresh tired feet. I suppose if you like the strong scent, a few sprays will make your feet feel cool for a while. The scent is one you will either really like or will not be able to stand and it is very strong at least at first. I don't mind it but it sure isn't my favorite scent! It just too fake for me.

In all, I won't repurchase this spray, It doesn't keep my feet dry when exercising like some sprays and it doesn't seem to hydrate or deodorize. I don't know what the heck it does so why would I buy it again?

My Viewpoint

Avon Foot Works Watermelon Foot Spray Gel may appeal to those who like strong, sweet scents. But even so, it doesn't really DO anything. I suppose, after a long, hard day, a few sprays on tired feet would feel good. But that isn't enough reason for me to recommend it. 2 stars.

I really wonder about Avon at times...they seem to be more looking at what others are selling and trying to mimic it. A great foot bath is green tea (about 4 tea bags or more) and soaking your tootsies...this will not only relax, but if done a few days a week, will take footie oder away!

Avon is definitely NOT one of my favorite brands.

LOL to the comment below. I haven't bought Avon for years.

Huh... Good to know. Don't you hate it when you cannot figure out what the heck something is supposed to do?

I don't want to use anything that will attract bees to my feet! I try to stay away from fruit and flower scents while they are out and about.

Watermelon and feet...hmmmm....I would have never thought of that. Love your review!

But the scent wears off in 2.2 minutes and you're left with nothing! lol.

Haha, well the same answer applies. It dries and smells like nuthin.

Perhaps it's supposed to make your feet smell great :+) I love the smell of watermelon but don't like to eat it.
