One time I tried Smashbox gel eyeliner because I saw it on QVC and the make up artist made it look so good on the model that it just sucked me in. So I bought it and it was this tiny little jar of liner and a brush for like $30. It was really hard to apply, didn't look very good, and was way expensive so I sent it back.

I actually have four of these eyeliners; black, brown, navy, and grey, and I love each one of them. The colours are very rich and bring out a person's eyes quite well. And to make it even better the price is only six bucks, or less (depending on whether or not you catch them on sale)! It may take some time to get use to using this product because there is no pencil to guide you, but it is most definately worth it! I do not even worry about the fact that there is no appilcator brush with the eyeliner, because Avon has some really great ones for less than four bucks each. I chose to buy all four...
review »Avon Daring Definition Eyeliner... what could i say about that? It is one of a kind, i can say at least that. There isn't other eyeliners quite like it. It's very thick, and although it's very smudge-prone, it gives you those perfect smoky eyes that every girl looks for in the darker eye liner areas. and it has always been cheep and affordable.
