Avon Daring Definition Gel Eyeliner —

I purchased Avon's Daring Definition Gel Eye Liner in Black/Brown Pearl. Eyeliner is my "desert" product, you know, the one product I'd take with me on a desert island. I have to have my eyeliner.

As a result of my eyeliner obsession, I collect quite a few of them. I am always trying different eyeliners in search of the perfect one.

Well, I think I might have found it.

Avon's gel eye liner is excellent. The black/brown pearl color is not too brown, not too black. I don't notice a pearl sheen to it at all, so if you're looking for something shimmery, I don't think this is it. For me, this is good, I don't need a shimmery eyeliner. I need an eyeliner that is a good color, easy to apply, and stays on until I take it off.

This is a good color. It is extremely easy to apply. In fact, it was so easy that I was a little shocked. It's very creamy. It glides right on, smoothly and quickly. You'll be shocked at how fast you did your eyeliner with this gel.

My last test, of course, was how long it was going to stay. I was really concerned that since it was so deliciously creamy, it was going to come off in a few minutes. I am happy to report that it did not! This eyeliner lasts until you wash it off (and it washes off easily). No smudges whatsoever. The color stayed.

This is just an incredibly amazing product. I have an expensive gel eyeliner (Bobbi Brown) that I absolutely hate. When you apply it, your line "skips" and it doesn't last. The color is awful. The consistency of the gel is hard.

Avon's Daring Definition Gel Eye Liner is everything I want in an eyeliner. I hope Avon never discontinues this product. This eye liner is only $7, but I would pay a lot more for it. It's worth it!
