Avon Anew Ultimate Elixer Premium Review

My philosophy with regard to cosmetics (and, really, any product) has always been, "buy the active ingredient, not the brand."  That way, you're free to look for the best possible quality at the lowest price.

That's why I bought Anew Ultimate Elixir Premium.  The "pro-sirtuinTX" technology is also used by some department store brands, but they cost more.  A lot more.

Avon's product is pricey compared to its other products, so I was a little hesitant to try it, even though I'd read very good things about the active ingredients.  In fact, I emailed my rep first, just to be very sure that I could return it and get my money back if it didn't work well.  He reassured me, so I watched for a promotion.  Very next campaign, some items in that line went on sale for Buy 1 at regular price, get one at $10.  Well, that meant getting two 68-dollar bottles of Elixir Premium for $78.  That still felt like a splurge, but I saw it as a good opportunity, so I went for it.

After about three weeks' use, I'm happy to report that I like this stuff so much I'll never use anything else.  My skin looks refined, smooth, pink and healthy.  And I swear, as I apply it, my jawbone feels "sharper!"  Could it be that their claim of lifting jowls is true?  I'm sorry I didn't take a "before" pic, because I'd like to be sure it's not my imagination.

In any case, the job it's doing on the texture and color of my skin is amazing.  Highly recommended.
