Avon Anew Ultimate Age Repair Night Cream —

I used to sell Avon and I remember pushing this product for anyone who wanted to firm and lift and sculpt (whatever that means) their faces.  I even got a jar for myself (representative's special, of course), but I never used it until recently.

I've been using this products for over 2 months and I have yet to see the tiniest bit of difference.  My face doesn't look any different and it doesn't feel any different.  This cream sells for about $30, which is quite expensive, I feel,  for the average Avon customer but if it does what it claims to do I suppose most women would consider it worth the money.

I'm so glad that I didn't fall for all the advertising and pay full price for it, though even the special representatives price was too high in retrospect.

As far as its moisturizing performance, I've gotten the same results from moisturizers at the dollar store.  So hold on to your money or wait for a fantastic sale if you feel you must buy this.

It is a product that I have tried, and used for years, hoping it made a difference... problem is the difference was negative after 40, and I looked elsewhere and found a solution. This might work for some, for a while. Too pricey for so little results in my opinion

In response to Becky1980's comment from May 14, 2008 at 11:06AM:

I am 65 years old and I definitely have the problem this cream is trying to fix. In my 50's I really didn't have wrinkles as my skin is pretty taut and at 27 I never gave a second thought to any type of repair cream. I wasn't expecting miracles.......I'm not stupid.......I did, though, look at my face for even the most subtle changes and did it as critically as possible and even asked my family since we sometimes we don't see ourselves as others see us. Nobody saw any changes at all. I will concede that not every product works for every person. Please don't take this personally.....YOU didn't make or advertise the cream and I was just expressing my personal opinion on this forum.

I would be interested in knowing your age and skin type. This is another one of those products that target a specific group of people with a specific problem. I myself am 27, and personally not a fan of this cream at all, but I have customers in their 50's who swear by it. If you don't have the problem the cream is trying to fix, it will not make any difference whatsoever.
