Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment Day SPF 25 —

I have been a long time Mary Kay fan for skin care and make up but I am open minded and will try new things.  When a neighbor began consulting for Avon, I tried Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment.  Avoiding skin cancer and early wrinkles with a sunscreen is important to me, so I was willing to try the Anew Alternative with SPF 25.

I like the small pump design that limits the amount that comes out.  I also liked the creamy feeling of the lotion.  It wasn't watery or greasy.  It felt just right going on my face.

However, my eyes soon started watering, big time.  At first I thought that I may have gotten the Anew Alternative cream in my eye so I was very careful on future mornings. I kept having the same results of watery, burning eyes.  My eyes hurt and I always looked like I was crying- not what I was going for in an ant-aging cream.  I am not generally sensitive to skin care products and I have not had this reaction to face creams before so I really believe that there is something in the Anew Alternative that just doesn't agree with my eyes so I'll have to pass.

Avon does offer a money back garantee and most consultants are happy to let you try Avon products before you buy.  In the case of the Avon Anew Alternative, I suggest trying it out first but it may be just right for you.

My Viewpoint:  Although there were lots of positives about this Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment with SPF 25, my eyes just didn't like it, no matter how careful I was to keep it away from my eyes.  I am going to stick with my Mary Kay Time Wise Day Solution with SPF 25.

Nice review. I have the same problem with face lotions. I haven't tried the Mary Kay product yet, but might consider it after reading your review. Thanks.

I hate products that make me tear up a lot because I feel like my tears wash most of it off. Go back to Mary Kay ;+)

Great point, I am trying something now, that while I think it's great - it's hurting my eyes so will probably be a no go for me.

Trying a new product before shelling out money is always a good idea.
