I purchased and used the thermal microdermal cleanser before I tried this one. This one was very creamy, but unlike the microdermal one, it didn't have the texture or grittiness for exfoliation that I had hoped. I think I would have liked it a more if its texture was just a bit more like a scrub.  Avon ANEW Retroactive + 2-in-1 Cleanserhaven't noticed much in the ways of detoxifying. I use it in my morning shower and it works well as a cream cleanser, but it is lacking in the exfoliating area.

Avon's Anew Retroactive 2-in-1 Cleanser is great.  It doesn't cause pimples or rash and it's not a lotion or cream.  It's a gel.  It has little bumps in it that break as you use it that moisturize.  I have very sensitive skin and it is one of the few cleansers I can use.

I am an Avon nut and have used this product frequently. The whole ANEW line is reasonable and I have used most of the products since it's inception. I credit my young looking skin to the use of ANEW Retroactive! In addition, it rinses well and leaves no residue. I  recommend it to women of all ages!

This is one of the best cleansers I've ever tried. I've been using it exclusively for about two weeks now and really notice a difference. I have dry, sensitive skin, and this doesn't irritate or leave it feeling parched. My face feels fresh and soft after cleansing. I'm a minimalist, so that fact that it saves a step by cleansing and toning in one shot is very appealing. It lathers up well and has a pleasant, fresh scent. Even my husband loves using it

I bought this as part of a sale just to try it, and I've loved it ever since. I love the smell, it's not perfumy at all, it smells clean, crisp, and fresh. It is gentle enough to use twice a day, and really leaves skin feeling and looking clean and nice. It frequently goes on sale, that's when I buy it, or as part of a set. I love that it's a cleanser and toner together, one less step for me in the morning.
