Flew into Tampa, had booked through Hotwire because it was the cheapest.

Tampa's new car rental building was very nice. Clean, still smelled new even! we got there late at night local time, so no lines! Guy behind the counter was nice, jovial.

We got a "Standard" sized car. Which ended up being either a PT or HHR. having driven the PT, we chose the HHR. pleasant surprise! i was thinking we'd get some pontiac cheapo. (my brother went through budget and did get the Pontiac cheapo - for more $!)

HHR was pretty sweet. Ladies in the pick-up area were nice, even when we confused the oil temp gauge with the gas gauge and told them it only had a quarter tank. nobody said "duh" (within earshot anyway). Drop off at the end of our trip was equally painless.

I liked the pre-paid gas option. return the car on "E" and they'll fill it up for $X/gal. their price per gallon ended up being cheaper than what we'd have paid at the pump so Bonus for us!

Overall, we were pleased with the agency: their service, their facilities, their selection.
