Scam school-not worth the money and time

My husband attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in an attempt to make a career change. The people there are very nice, but the school itself is a bit of a scam. Students are led to believe they'd get a degree or certificate equivalent to a degree. They are not told the classes will not transfer to a traditional school. They are used to obtain the maximum amount in student loans as well as any personal student loans they can get. After six months my husband realized that what he expected to get from the school just wasn't going to happen. He dropped out and now we are stuck paying the loans taken out for the school. Please be wary of the school and make sure you know your options if you choose to sign up. Perhaps this was just a personal bad experience, but in the end we have determined the school is more of a scam than an educational institution.
